Beauty Bought: Throughout the year, from United Kingdom

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

This would probably give me a reason to create a very long post because I've just hauled, I don't know, $150 worth of goodies and it's by far a lot for me to handle but don't worry, the purchases was made between September 2012 to May 2013, I've just received it now from my bestfriend of which I've abused her address for shipping some UK products I want to try to avoid hefty shipping fees.

I thought I only made just so little purchases, but when she gave me all of my packages, I was pretty much overwhelmed and realized with regret of how much I really spend. But nevertheless, most of the stuff that I bought below, safe to say that I'm refraining myself from trying out each one as I might just give some of it away.

This is the whole purchases I've made throughout her time in the UK. It was so overwhelmingly a LOT! I'll go through the hauls by brands down below.

Brand: Missha

My bestfriend went for a holiday in Korea, so I didn't want to miss the opportunity to actually ask her to buy me some of the stuffs that are too expensive here. She got me the Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream for just $10 where as if I buy it in Brunei, the cheapest I could get is $35, so it's not such a bad deal. She bought one for herself too but it wasn't suitable for her sensitive skin, so she gave me her big 50ml BB Cream.

Also, the tints are $5 each and if I were to buy it in Brunei, it would cost me $26, so I'm saving up a lot of money! I really love these tints and my collection of these tints are complete! I have all four of them now! Yahoo!

Brand: It's Skin

I've heard good news about the serums, so I asked my bestfriend to buy two of which is more suitable to what I need, I'm currently using the green one though, which is suitable for excessive sebum secretion, I don't know if I'm glad to purchase it because as time goes on my skin has reverted into normal skin so I hardly have breakouts and excessive sebum secretion. But oh well, let's see how it goes.

Also, I don't think I need more lipbalms because I have so many that I still haven't opened, but I just can't help it, I love macarons and this is perfect for me! It smells like grapes too!

Brand: Sleek Makeup

I bought this when I still wanted to try Sleek Makeup, but I did try some of their palettes a few months ago and I was a little bit disappointed with the Au Naturel that I don't even want to buy more of it. So this is the last purchase I will make from Sleek Makeup. I hope.

Brand: W7

W7 is a brand that I'm very intrigue with as it produces makeup that are dupes of higher ends makeup such as Benefit and NYX. The Mega Matte Lip cream is actually similar with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. The packaging, the smell and I can tell by just applying once that the performance is pretty much the same. I wonder if they were manufactured in the same factory.

Africa blush is beautiful! I will post up a more detailed review on it soon!

Brand: Benefit

My first Benefit product, when I received this, I was afraid that it would be too dark on me as I chose the No.3 color, I am always confused about my skintone as sometimes it can lean on light-medium or just medium. But I'm currently testing this, so far, I am still impressed.

Brand: Maybelline

I know I can get Maybelline's stuff here in Brunei but that tint is not available in Brunei and I don't really want to buy a $20 mascara where I can get $10 mascara in UK, I don't mind waiting for these because I still have tons of cheap mascara that works well with my current need. I know Maybelline's mascaras are known to be dramatic, but I really love me defined lashes that is nice for an everyday look. So I might just use this for special events.

Brand: Sunkissed Cosmetic

I don't even know why I wanted to purchase this, it's not like I need MORE neutral palettes, but they were from 123beauty.co.uk and it was dirt cheap with free shipping, so I can't really say no to that. I haven't try this, I'm not sure if I want to keep this or just give it away.

Brand: Technic

A palette that seems so similar to Sleek palettes in terms of packaging and even size! I bought three of their palettes, but I gave one away to my beloved Bruneian blogger-bestfriend, Nisnis from Frugal or Perfection so you can follow her if you want to know about the other palette.

Brand: Body Collection

I am a palette hoarder, what more can I say! :P

Brand: Real Technique

It was mostly raved in the beauty blogging world, it won't hurt to buy something that I really need to try out their brushes.

Samples: It's Skin and L'oreal

Well, samples, I'm not sure when I'll be using these but I'll try to use the L'oreal CC cream samples as I'm very excited to use it.

So that was my haul from UK, it's a lot I know, I don't know if I'm allowed to buy more eyeshadow palettes now as I seem to own more that I can use. I will post the reviews on these stuff after I've finished reviewing other backlog posts that I can't seem to finish. LOL!

In My Bag : My Updated Everyday Makeup Bag

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I think I've been a very lazy blogger these days, for no good reasons actually, I've just been lazing off my lazy bum procrastinating on updating my blog consistently. I promised a post about my updated makeup bag which I bring almost every day if I ever go out  and this is for a little touch up.

My makeup bag's content has diminished to less than 10 items in it, as I find that I don't like to lug around a huge makeup bag and decided that to keep it at the bare necessity.

I brought my MUA eyeliner, lipstain, a lipstick/cream that I use for the day, Missha's lip palette which I found useful as not only they are so pigmented, they are useful to switch colors, a sample BB Cream, concealer palette and that small pot is a lipstick that I've depotted as the packaging was faulty and can't be twisted up.

There are times that my makeup is flawed, i.e my eyelining skill can get me in trouble for not being so precise and consistent on both eyes, a little too thick or a little too thin on one of the eyes. So it's good that you need a back up to

Also concealing palette for when my concealers need a little of touch up. I hardly need to touch up my blush, so I decided not to bring any, even if I need to, I could just use the lipstain from Holika Holika to replace as my blush. I also bring a compact powder which I forgot to take a picture of.

I'm going to post a few In My Bag posts, this time when I'm staying in a hotel, I'll have a few posts on it as it really matters where you're staying to actually bring some of your makeup and skincare item.

Hope you like this post, tell me what you bring in your makeup bag.

In My Bag : First-Aid

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I must say, this is the first time my pictures are of good quality, too bad my room doesn't have any sunlight coming in, I was actually in the car waiting for my dad to finish up his business at a government building.

I seriously love the lighting, I think I'll be taking pictures and swatches when no one's home or when I'm out and about with good sunlight, LOL! So anyways, you've seen the first aid pouch from the last post of In My Bag edition, and as time goes, I've added a few stuffs in, including a toe cream for my pre-surgery and I'd still need to use it until in such time my toe is completely healed, FYI, I had an ingrown toenail and it has been going on for 4 months now, I'm not the type to be all scared and worried if I'm sick, heck, if I had a flu or something, I sometimes ignore it and get on with my everyday life and do what needs to be done instead of resting, which is not recommended for all of you if you're the resting type.

But I am the kind of girl who really doesn't have the time or the energy to even give in to my sicknesses, so I've always been active though I don't really have a strong stamina, lol! So anyways, that ingrown toenail, at first it was a silly excess nail that I forgot to clip and in turn, it grows and pierced my flesh secreting pus or "nanah" and it's been going on for a few months until it get serious that no one, not even me can touch that toe as it becomes sensitive.

Had a few appointment with a podiatry, and had a surgery to cut out the nail. The anesthetic shot hurts a lot! LOL, I found the surgery to be.. weirdly awesome, LOL! Because I felt numb and didn't even feel any pain from the surgery because of the anesthetic and it felt like the doctor was actually cutting up some sort of rubber on my toe. And they gave me the cut up toe nail, that I won't be showing here, as it is disgusting. But I found out that the reason it hurt for a long time is because the side of the nails have curved inward thus causing acute pains.

So that went out and slightly curved from the purpose of this post, lol, anyways, I've always have a few bandages inside the pouch, as an accident-prone person, this comes in handy. Nail clipper, as sometimes there would be a time that I'd felt "dirty" and wanted to clip my nails, so yeah, it's a must for me. Also the toe cream which I rarely used and didn't listen to the doctor's prescription. And the aromatherapy oil, that I've bought a few weeks ago, it is very useful for sore throats, headaches and nose blockage, I even used this when I had an acute gastric pain, although it wasn't meant for gastric pains at least it help me to go through the pain. Eyemo eye drops, a basic necessity for all contact lens users.

Next in the beauty department is the tinted lip balm from Maybelline, which I dearly love so much! I try to take up a review on this soon! Also Missha's hand cream, it didn't quite fit into the pouch so I decided to transfer the whole tube into a smaller plastic bottle, which is squeeze-able, and then Miss Natasha perfume oil, it has been in my collection for sometime now, I don't really love the smell, because it has a high intense sickly sweet smell, but when used accordingly will smell nicely. Then a travel perfume bottle, I poured my favorite scent into it, which is the Victoria's Secret Body Mist in Mango Temptation.

I hope you like my post, so comment below if you'd like me to make another post of my updated make-up bag or a travelling make-up bag, thanks for reading!

Sample Review : Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

So another Missha sample that I've tried and it's the famous M Perfect Cover BB Cream. A lot has made this the cult BB Cream that gives great coverage, long-lasting and some other claims. I've tried this yonks ago and this is me reviewing it now, such a procrastinator, but don't worry! My reviews is as legit as it can be, because I even wrote down on a memo how I get on with this BB Cream.

And I've got the shade No.23, I find this a little too light for me, but I can mix it with a darker foundation to create the perfect match for my skin. But I did use this alone without foundation and I found that it is able to oxidize to a shade slightly matching to my skintone. I really don't mind though because no one's gonna be differentiating my neck and face because of my hijab, so no one can really see my true skintone :p

Ahem, as far as coverage goes, I would say medium as I really have prominent blemishes which I blame myself for, it would be a miracle if any foundation or BB Creams are able to give a full coverage on my blemish-prone skin. As far as it goes, I can go for 8 hours without touch-up. I am very impressed with the performance of this BB Cream, I think it might stump my favorite Hot Pink BB Cream but I'd definitely won't be buying the full-size until I've finished at least 3-4 BB Creams from my stash. So a great product in my book.

Sample Review : Missha M Boomer

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I think it would be nice to add in a sample review, as mostly reviewing a product sample that might have little amount of products that would yield to an inaccurate review. But yet, this is what I think on first impressions which is basically important for me to like the samples or not.

I got this sample from my friend who doesn't even like samples, so she gave it away to me. This was from Missha's official opening in Brunei. I used it during my semester break and I got around to actually post this now. LOL. But don't worry, I still remember the bits and bobs of the primer as this stands out from the rest of the samples that I've used.

This primer is different from what I'd like to use, a white emulsion with shimmers but when blended it will give you a brightened look without the glitter/shimmer being so obvious.

The texture is quite thin and thus easily blends into the skin. What I like about this is just the smell, the performance for me isn't so good. Although doesn't give a silicone-y feel to it, it still gives a smooth canvas to work on. However, this doesn't last me for more than 4 hours. It slips off and ruined my makeup by the end of the day. I have to admit, I was on a heavy-duty shopping that time, that I even climb up the stairs from the ground floor to the sixth floor. Yes, I can't believe I did that. So I was sweating, this would be where the primer is tested, does it still puts my makeup where it is or does it run off with all the sweats. Well, it runs off and it doesn't look nice on me when it does.

Purchase the full size? Nope, there's better primers than Missha's BB Boomer.

Random Picture : Skin79 and Missha Haul!

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I'm a big fan of Missha and Skin79, although with that confession, I must say it takes a lot of courage to buy cosmetics/skincare from them. I still want to try out many BB Creams from them, though I would definitely want to buy the Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream(40ml), maybe near to Syawal/Ramadhan, cuz I'm still waiting for ze pocket money from ze parents. nyehehehe *evil laugh*

So here's the haul from Missha and Skin79.

1.  Missha's Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule 10ml
2. Missha's Hand Cream in Cotton White
3. Skin79's Snail Nutrition mini BB Cream 5ml

Believe it or not, this haul should have cost me $48 *gulp* but I won a lot of contest from both brands in their local fanpages, so this is for FREE! YEAY me!

Technically, the hand cream is pretty much a "repurchase" I didn't want to choose other scents because I'm in love with the mild fragrant it gives.

I haven't had time to test these out minus the hand cream. But I'd definitely post up reviews for the Ampoule and the BB Creams :)

Make-up Review : Missha's Signature Glam Art Rouge Mini 5 Color Lip Palette No.2

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Again, another Missha review, but this one is a freebie from Missha in conjuction with the product launching of "What A Lovely Moment" The Ultimate Special Edition Beauty Collaboration Makeup Lovely Pastel designed by Kim Jihee, lol that's a handful! They prompted us to choose either Lip Palette No.1 or No.2, I can see that No.2 has more range of colors than No.2, I decided to pick up the latter and also, the SA too have persuaded me into choosing this because of the Pink packaging, because No.1 has a Gold packaging. HEEE.

So anyways, the palette is actually a small sample of 5 different creamy lipstick from their Signature Glam Art Rouge range. I think each sample is less than 2g?

So the colors from left to right : SPK103, SPK104, SCR303, SBE201 and SBR601

SPK103 : described as Raspberry Dark Pink
A very lovely dark pink that somehow felt like a MLBB color for me, but when layered on, looked a little plum-ish to me.

SPK104 : described as Vivid Radish Pink
A reddish pink that is just what it says, vivid!

SCR303 : described as Fresh Coral Orange with White Tone
A nice addition to my non-existent orange lip colors.

SBE201: described as Beige with Pink Tone
A nice nude pink color that serves best with a smokey makeup

SBR601 : described as Mild Red Bean Soup Brown
A nude brownish pink color

So the swatches are quite faded but then it was hard to pick up the product from the palette but then when transferred to your lips the colors are more pigmented and I didn't need a lot of SPK104 because the color packs a punch!

What I love about these, is that they have these vanilla scents that I think will relate to MAC lipsticks although I've never had a MAC lipsticks (I am just not interested in MAC ==') The texture are quite creamy and it is also not drying.

They also stain your lips with it so it is a nice thing that I don't have to check my lip color every hour and also, long-lasting. I might be interested in buying their full-size lipsticks especially SBE202 (not in review) because it is a very nude color that I must definitely have!

Make-up Review : Missha's The Style Tint in Moisture Orange

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

For today, I'm going to make another review on another Missha's Lip Tint in Moisture Orange, oh yes, I fall in love with these tints and I intend to collect two more but since I've hit my $50 budget for makeup this month, so I'm trying my best not to buy more makeup, as I may not have a lot of makeup compared to the make-up collections in Youtube (which actually freaks me out! cuz there have been some people who loves to hoard but never uses it, it hurts my wallet so much! LOL) and I think I have enough currently. Though there's some of my BB Cream almost finishing up.

So back to the story, I have reviewed the sister of this lip tint here, and my opinion about this doesn't change but I just want to give you girls a little something cuz I really am IN LOVE with this color!

It's orange when you first apply it, I just love how they aren't so drying once it's settled. However, this is very PIGMENTED on my lips and I have pigmented lips too! So, it translated as a pinky coral-orange-ish tint when you apply it on your lips, color below doesn't justified how beautiful it is.

And, you only require a little gloss on top and it will give you that MLBB look with a little kick of the orange tint.

Random Picture : Hauls for the month of June. I hope! :P

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Made a few hauls and hopefully, this is the only cosmetic hauls I'll make for the month of June as I really need to save up! Oh and soon, you'll be seeing my hauls from UK being brought back to Brunei too!

A trip to Miri and I only bought this Bio-Oil that has been given good reviews since its cheaper there than in Brunei, I've actually bought it and I seriously love that Watson's SA cuz I actually took one of the Bio-Oil's packaging where it is a bit worn and she replaced it with a new stock :D

Missha's Haul! So okay, I only bought the lip tint in Moisture Orange, and got the Red Gingseng Mask as a GWP! Entered another contest with Missha and won this awesome 5-colors lip palette! Reviews for both will come soon! :D

Oh well, I just can't stay away from Essence, can I? LOL! Give me a heads up on what you want me to review first ;) please don't hesitate to comment below!

Skincare Review : Missha's Love Secret Hand Cream in Cotton White

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

A couple of weeks ago, I entered a contest with my local Missha store's facebook fanpage and I actually won a hand cream for entering a review on my current favorite, their lip tint.

So here I am, giving a review about this hand cream. There were different types of hand cream to choose from but most of them are either too flowery or too fruity, so decided to go for the Cotton White because of it's mild and light smell.

Like the smell, the texture is like a watery lotion and it is a very hydrating hand cream, it moisturizes your hands and keeps em soft and the scent lingers too! A very big plus for me.

A big let down is that, this hand cream contains only 27ml and it costs around $15.90 so it is a bit expensive for a small size hand cream, or else, I would love to repurchase it again and again, or I'll just wait when I do have a job :p

Make-up Review : Missha The Style Tint

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

There was a grand opening for the newest Korean Cosmetic store in Brunei, MISSHA! :D
There was an announcement a few months ago by MISSHA, for whoever commented on a certain status on their Facebook fanpage, they'll receive free membership, so I just went and commented.

The card is beautiful when I picked it up, the samples below shown are from my friend's from 12Balletflats who have not been updating for so long, wish she's soon update her blog now that our exams are over :p

And I only received a sample of their make-up remover wipes and I bought their The Style Tint in the lightest pink, I'm not sure, LOL if only I can read Korean :)

This is the beauty samples, the member's card and the tint that I bought. Oh, if you're able to look closely, you'll see my real full name :p

It comes with, surprise surprise, with a brush applicator instead of the usual doe-foot applicators from other brands. And, I find it easier to control my application.

It comes off as a light pink color when first applied, it has a smooth and liquid texture, not too thick and not too runny. I found them to be not sticky, though lip tints aren't supposed to be sticky, LOL.

As you can see here, the tint  has darken up to a more flushed and darker pink tone, when applied to lips, it's so natural that you'd think that this color is actually your natural lip color. What I like most about this tint is that it can handle up to 5-6 hours and it can actually withstand a meal or two.

What I dislike about this tint? It's too expensive, it costs me about $26? It's too expensive for my budget, thankfully I wasn't in the spree mood and bought other stuffs too, who knows how much it will cost me.

But I'm thinking of trying their orange lip tint, but maybe in a couple of months' time :D

P.S:// I might be reviewing their samples :D so stay tune! :D
