FOTD : It was just another wedding reception

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Another FOTD and an inclusive ROTD (Ring of The Day), I won't be posting a lot of ROTD because I hardly have an extensive collection. So I might just use my next few pays to actually invest in some of these finger candies.

Went to a wedding reception of my cousin's cousin, I went there with my brother and little sister. I'm sorry about the picture below, it's only after the reception that I decided to take pictures, LOL!

Skincare Review : Baviphat Indi Girl Tea Tree Catch Oil

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I've had this long in my draft unattended, so while I'm busy doing my assignments and I'm having my off day today, so I might as well just update this and review this oil for you ladies.

So my skin is very prone to acne, and when I say acne, it's not those barely there spots, it's definitely those acnes where you can pop it to excrete those yellow icky pus. And I'm one of those gals who likes to pop pimples, LOL! So basically I'm not helping my skin at all, letting them be inflamed and produces those dark scars along the way. I'm currently on a skincare routine that helps eliminate these acne scars, so far so good.

Back to this oil, I've been trying to find tea tree oil in Brunei, let's face it, it wasn't easy, although I know there's a Tea Tree Oil product at Bodyshop but I somehow never bought anything from there, except to repurchase my favorite EDP there.

The Baviphat Tea Tree Oil was on offer, I can't remember the price but it was less than $5 where as the usual price was around the $15 mark, so it was a very nice bargain at that time. It contains about 20ml worth of product, it smells like tea tree oil, I pretty much prefer them to have a dropper as it is easier than this, but this stops from spilling any wastage, so all is not lost.

I don't need to swatch it as it is just basically oil. When apply to my blemishes, it has this cooling effect, but if I do have an open wound, it would sting as how spirits does to any wounds, so I assume that they do contain some kind of alcohol at some point.

The effect they have on pimples can be seen in a matter of 2 days, it's nice but I don't think I'll be repurchasing this as I really need something that can instantly deflate any pimples so I can actually stop myself from popping it on my free time.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl All In One Collagen BB Cream

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

From the Baviphat's BB Set, I'm going to review on one of my favorite BB Cream apart from the Skin79's Hot Pink and Snail BB, the Baviphat's Sugar Girl All In One Collagen BB Cream.

I seriously love their retro-like packaging that reminds me of theBalm and Benefit, even their highlighter looks and almost a dupe for the Benefit's High Beam (not that I own the latter product). I'm not sure I'd even want to get any of the Benefit's products with my college budget but I might get one of the travel kits, which might still be expensive but at least I want to buy a few sample size stuffs at a cheaper price than their full-size products. But anyways, back to the review!

It has a hygienic touch to it by implementing the seal onto their squeeze tube BB Cream.

It has SPF30, the usual setting for affordable BB Creams, I have two of the Baviphat's BB Creams and I prefer this over the blue one which is the Moist Collagen BB Cream. The texture is creamy with a natural beige tone to it, at first it would give a white cast over my face, once it's oxidized it would settle into my natural skin tone. Although it has a very light coverage, it really feels light and one of the first BB Creams to actually mimic my skin color.

This BB Cream performs well, moisturizing my skin without the shine but a medium in terms in oil control, I get this around 4-5 hours before I have to touch it up, for which, I don't really mind. I don't know if I would repurchase this or not, but I might if there's nothing better than this.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl Moist Collagen BB Cream

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I'm back with the review of the Baviphat's set I've bought a few weeks ago that was on for a bargain of $14+ which calculates to $4++ each and I think it is a great bargain as you can't really find any BB Creams or primer that could set you back for less than $5.

I'm going to review on one of my least favorite but don't let it stop you there, out of all three, I guess, the blue tube didn't really impress me that much but all the same a real great product but not something I would repurchase.

I love their cute retro-esque packaging, kinda make my BB Cream collection seems interesting.

What I can say about this product is that it has a light beige color and the consistency is a little runny but it easily blends with your skin at first giving a little white cast but it then would settle into my skin shade which is undeniably something that doesn't come by so often as some would really leave me with a shade that a few steps lighter and giving me a grey cast.

This BB Cream gives me a slightly dewy finish which I dislike, well I do have a dislike to dewy finishes so I usually mattify it with a setting powder. This does last a few hours before it needs to be blotted or retouched. I really love this BB Cream as it gives me light coverage but still enough to hide my redness and evens out my skin tone.

I don't know if I want to repurchase this or not, but if there is nothing better out there, I would.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Magic Girl Star Glam Highlighter

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I'm so lazy to these review posts these days as I've had a lot of things on my mind but then I just couldn't stay away and let my blog be post-less for a while unless I have good reasons for it, lol. So, I'm a newbie when it comes to highlighter, I don't think I'll be buying more highlighter as the one I've bought (that I'm going to review) would last me at least a lifetime before it goes bad. I've seen testers from Etude House, their liquid highlighters have gone bad.

I still think that Etude House's liquid highlighter, although they have the pink that I loved so much, is a little to overpriced and I won't buy something that could go bad easily for more than $20.

The Baviphat's liquid highlighter cost me around $7 I think, as it comes with a discount.

It reminds me of Benefit's liquid highlighter as I've seen from reviews it has a tiny bottle, although Etude House has a slightly large bottle.

As you can see, it has a nail polish-like packaging, glass bottle with a brush applicator. I don't really have any complains with the applicators as I only use it to dot on to my features that I'd like to highlight.

Ans as you can see, this is actually a gold highlighter with pink tones running through it, the glitters are fine and when blended it gives a lovely rosey-gold shimmer that doesn't goes overboard as it gives you a highlighted look that won't make you look like glitterballs.

I don't know how long it lasted but I think it lasted a good while for me, I first used this almost everyday but then I realized it's too heavy duty for me to wear it to school, so I only used it for special occasions although there's a time or two that I'd pop this over my browbone to give it a highlighted look.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl All Skin Collagen Primer

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

As I've stated before, I've bought this wonderfully discounted set for a half-price bargain. Out of those three, the blue tube is my least favorite but nevertheless a good product! As you can see, I can't really afford to buy and repurchase my Holy Grail primer which is the Holika Holika Silky Veil Primer, I've been looking for other cheap alternatives so I won't have to feel guilty finishing up my Holika Holika primer, I think I can make about 4-5 more applications before it is used up.

So with that clarified, of course I would be reviewing the primer from this set.

I really love the packaging, the have this retro feeling and from the whole range, I would say these are similar in terms of theme with theBalm's products.

It is sealed, so far so good.

This primer is basically a silicon-based primer, something that fares well with my skin as it is not only giving you a smooth surface for your makeup canvas, it does minimize the visibility of your pores, although the color is tinted but it pretty much blends into your skin with no tint left.

Also, I found the primer to keep my makeup longer than it would without it, it works almost as well as Holika Holika Silky Veil Primer with only a fraction of the price, I'm telling you, even in EBay, the Silky Veil Primer is still too expensive for me. But fortunately this primer is affordable for budget-conscious beauty.

This is definitely a repurchase for me! I'd definitely be exploring Baviphat's range of products as Paloma is actually selling them with a really affordable price.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl Gel Eyeliner

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

So, I've been sold when Fifi of Pretty Much Makeup made a review.

This is a Korean cosmetic brand, which I am very foreign to but nevertheless, they have very cute vintage packaging, almost similar to theBalm cosmetic brand. I do am feel interested in buying something from this brand, though I haven't really research on this brand, so I might start in just a few days.

I bought this in Pearl Navy, I wanted to buy it in purple because I've been in search for purple gel liners, but all is well found a purple gel liner from Essence, and currently looking for a Moss Green gel liner, bad dear me, heehee. I think Tonymoly has a green gel liner so I might come and pick up things at Tonymoly.

Back to the review, it has a creamy but of a medium soft texture, it's not so crumbly soft as opposed to Essence's gel liner but it is still soft that it actually glides on pretty well when applying it normally with a brush.

I'm not good with describing colors but this Pearl Navy gel liner is basically a navy with metalic sheen giving off a satin finish to it. It works well on my lashline, it doesn't crease or smudge and it is long-lasting, doesn't even fade until you remove it with cleansing oil or any type of make-up remover.

I might repurchase this, but who ever going to finish up gel liners? But I am running out of black gel liner, which is from Silkygirl, so I might try out Essence Gel Liner in Black or maybe Baviphat's but only if I am finished with my Silkygirl's.
