Make-up Review: The Faceshop Lovely Me:Ex Eyebrow Crayon in Dark Brown

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Another review for you guys, I'm currently obsessed looking for "The Eyebrow Crayon" because I've finally realized how important it is to frame your face by filling in your eyebrows, I mean I do sometimes skip my eyebrow makeup routine back then but ever since I really explored my eyebrow makeup, I realized how much difference it makes on my overall face makeup.

That would remind me that I should update my everyday makeup routine as I am getting more and more lazy to wear extensive makeup everyday so anyways, here's the review!

I really love this eyebrow crayon that I actually bought a back-up of this and I have finished this crayon, this lasts me for about 3-4 months of almost everyday use. I don't use this if I stay at home. Anyways, it has a spoolie brush attached which is very convenient for travel and I do brought this crayon to Singapore with me.

It gives a fantastic precision to draw in and fill in your eyebrows since it is triangular in shape, so there's the thin part and the thick part of the crayon, I use the thin part to outline my eyebrows and the thick part to fill in, it made my life so much easier. The texture itself is creamy enough to go through my thick eyebrows (they are pretty thick as I don't trim them), it is quite pigmented but it goes on and does't look stark on my eyebrows which is a good thing.

This crayon has a lasting longevity, I can go from 8AM to 10PM and it is still there, so that's about 12 hours of use before it starts to fade. A repurchase, I just did! It's affordable at $8.90, if you're a member, there'll be a 10% discount. At first, I thought this will be my HG eyebrow crayon but I found another one that is much cheaper and much better! Which I will post the review soon! But nevertheless, I still love this product and use this most of the time.

Make-up Review: The Faceshop Lesson 03 Artist Touch Lipstick in RD301

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I am sorry with the lack of updates, the WIFI at home is gone and I can't go online as much as I want so I hardly ever spend time online using my laptop, it is such a boring thing when you are on your holiday.

So, this is a review for a lipstick from The Faceshop a brand that I hardly explore, I haven't even try their BB Creams yet and I am looking forward to test it out, maybe as soon as I get a job!

I bought this especially for an occasion that is dear to mine, my bestfriend is engaged! I was happy and we were actually having a sleepover too, so we actually went to Mabohai complex to get the Royce chocolate hamper for one of the "berian" that my bestfriend ordered.

There was The Faceshop and the only red lip product I bought was the NYX Xtreme Lip Cream, which I currently dislike because of it transferring everywhere. I bought this because of the fact the consistency is between matte and creamy also this is RED! I don't have many red lip products as of now, so I do try to have something that goes well with everything.

This is a picture with me wearing the product, I love the true red it gives in this picture, I can actually use this sparingly to give a nice red that is wearable for everyday look. Although I hardly use red in my daily looks but when I do I usually use this lipstick to satisfy my red needs as it last long for about 3-4 hours before I need to reapply. Since its between matte and creamy it doesn't dry up on me.

Sample Review : The Faceshop's Hydro Splash BB Cream

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

A sample review from The Faceshop's BB Cream sample. I was a little worried to try this out as Hydro Splash means that it might be moisturizing or a little too moisturizing, but I decided to go ahead and wear this out after a few weeks that this sample has been in my stash.

I am very surprised that the sample is very generous as I've actually managed to use up about 8 applications from this. At first I was glad that the color of this BB Cream is very dark, I might finally found a BB Cream that suits my skintone, but too bad, the color is actually lighter than light as I proceed to blend this into my skin, which blends nicely.

It settles into my skin nicely with a light to medium coverage, it also reduces the appearance of my pores and fine line. Which is actually a big bonus. Would I ever buy the full-size version? Maybe, as much as this BB Cream impresses me, it doesn't give me a very good impression that I would run out to buy this and I do have a lot more BB Creams to go through.

Finished Products : Essence, Silkygirl and The Faceshop

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

It's time to show you three products from three different brands that I've not exactly finished but somehow the state of the products have deteriorated that I have no other choice to actually throw it out but at least I've made good use out of them! :D

So first up is the souffle blush, I didn't exactly tell you how I come to finish it but here it is, the souffle blush has dried up on me, usually I won't be able to pick the product up with my hand, but I did.

As you can see here, the product doesn't blend well anymore causing a much more of a hassle of trying to blend it onto my skin to create that natural pink flush on my cheek and I don't know how to un-dry it and I don't think there's any other way to salvage it other than to throw it out. Which is too bad as I am already on a role in finishing up this blush. I used about 65% of the product already.

I've repurchased another color of this product and I still love it! I would definitely repurchase this again and again.

Okay these are just basically gel eyeliners from Silkygirl that I've depotted to a different gel pot as the original packaging isn't so sturdy as it broke on me.

I don't think I'll ever be able to repurchase these as they seriously need to upgrade their eyeliners' formula as they smudge easily and my friends also keeps on asking me for recommendations for eyeliners and I'd definitely won't recommend Silkygirl's. I think Silkygirls are best with their lip and eyeshadow products, there's no doubt about it, but eyeliners? I'm afraid they don't do well on that department, so NO REPURCHASE!

This is The FaceShop's White Mud Mask Nose Pack for reducing whiteheads and blackheads, which I'd definitely agree that it does reduce my whiteheads and blackheads but not entirely. And what can you see below is that the mask is actually separating as before the color of the product is stark white and now it is a cloudy/milky white.

I might repurchase this but I'm still not sure.

So that's all for my current finished products, there are lots that I haven't even covered. But InshaAllah I will post it up.

Make-up Collection : What's in my Make-up Bag

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Today, I'm going to do something different and I would love to show you what I usually bring in my make-up bag. As you can see from the picture below, the bag I have is very transparent and un-glamour-ish, only because I like it to be practical, this bag won't see the light of the day anyways.

This bag is from Oxy's Travel Pack from a few years ago, so I'm not sure anymore wherever you can get something like this.

This is the face products that I usually bring in with me, my Silkygirl Foundation Powder, my face brush, my almost nil Holika Holika Petit BB Cream in Watery, just in case I need to touch up my BB Cream. Also I brought my Essence color-corrector and Maybelline's liquid concealer.

I mostly bring practical make-up, I didn't bring any blushes only because it usually lasts for more than 6 hours and even if it fades after the 6-hour mark, I don't even bother to touch up my blush.

Since I hate my Hi-Definition mascara, I brought this to my make-up bag and only use this when I forgotten to wear mascara when I'm at home. I usually bring my Essence liners everywhere, then my Silkygirl's liquid liner is something that I hardly use because I just hate the idea of liquid liner, but I definitely use this for makeup emergencies, lol.

The Silkygirl's eyeshadow quad is something of a necessity for me, not only I use this for my natural smokey look, I use the 3rd color to color in my eyebrow. The blue and purple duo eyeshadow is just something that I throw in, just in case I need a little color to spice up my makeup.

I bring a lot of lip products.Holika Holika's Berry Tint, Maybelline Baby Lips lipbalm, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, the Revlon's famous lip butter, Silkygirl's lipstick gloss and Avon's lipstick and lip gloss. Lastly my The Faceshop's lip palette

So that's about it, I think it's just a humble collection but I forgot to mention here that I usually bring a small angled brush and a small eyeshadow brush for my eye makeup retouch, lol.

Skincare Review : The Faceshop's Vita Mask Sheets

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

These face masks are one of my least favorite, it might've been in my Worst Product post, if I were to write it up.

So, I think the ones that are with good performance is the Egg and Milk essence. Is it normal that the masks are tinted in their respective package color?

It somehow gave a stinging sensation instead of what it promises in giving plump and cooled effect, I took it off before reaching the 5 minute mark, taking in mind I have a normal-oily skin. I usually don't have any negative reaction to any skincare products, except for acne products.

So I guess it's a bit of a let down that even a sheet mask can actually give me this effect. There's not much I can say. I'm banning my wallets from ALL The Faceshop's Mask Sheet.

FOTD : It's 2AM in the morning and I just can't sleep

 Assalamualaikum,

Oh yes, I'm that bored :p

What I had in mind was, a look that I could pull off on any wedding functions, with purple eyeshadow. I never pulled off a purple look, maybe because my blending skills was good enough at that time.

Rapid Intense Look LOL LOL LOL! :p

So these are the palettes that I used for the look.

Silkygirl's Blockbuster Palette in Violet Crush, Silkygirl's My Eye Girl Palette in Inspiring, Silkygirl's Duo Eyeshadow in Blue Heaven, The Faceshop's Color-Full Lip Palette in 02 and Etude House's Highlight Powder.

I just basically used the purple[outer-v] and the golden pink[as base and browbone highlight] in My Eye's Palette, purple[lid wash] in the Blue Heaven's eyeshadow, the greyish purple[crease] in Blockbuster Palette.

Also, I'm using the Tonymoly Milky Pink Lip Tint as a base and used the Matte Rose Brown lip color.

Make-up Review : The Faceshop's Concealer Cream Stick in Natural

Assalamualaikum,

So today we're going to talk about my current favorite concealer, from The Face Shop. It's a love hate thing. I sometimes use my liquid concealer as opposed to this concealer, which is a cream stick.

Skincare Review : The Faceshop's White Mud Nose Pack

Assalamualaikum,

I think I'm very content and a bit on the mood to write reviews nowadays cuz I've already finished up 4 reviews that are scheduled to be posted up here. So here goes another one, I'm going to review on a skincare product from The Faceshop. If I were not mistaken, The Faceshop is the first Korean cosmetic shop that arrived to Brunei, am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

So I haven't bought a lot of things from The Faceshop, it's because I was a little intimidated by the bright white lights that they use for their shops, I don't know, I just felt that way. There was a liquid liner that I pretty much hate because the brush was a dud, the liquid liner smells horrid. Hopefully that liquid liner is discontinued, cuz I've bought that liner a few years ago.

White Mud Nose Pack contains White Mud (obviously!), with Burdock extract. This peel-off nose pack cleans and clarifies nose.

Direction for application: Spread the white mud over the nose area, including the sides of the nose, and leave on for 10-15 minutes or after it dries up. Slowly peel from the bottom up and finish with a toner.

It looks like this, I was just applying it on my nose. Sorry for not showing how it looks like on my nose, I'm a bit shy and I wasn't in the mood to cover up myself.

So anyways, this is what happen when it's dry and you want to remove the white mud off your nose, or in this case, my finger. It does a lot of tugging, though some people might think that it may able to remove blackheads, I kid you not, it does reduce blackheads but it doesn't efficiently remove it. It only lifts up dead skin cells and those blackheads/whiteheads that are above the surface, leaving your nose feeling soft like a baby's buttocks. LOL.

However, I don't really like it that this nose pack actually enlarges the visibility of my pores. I can deal with the fact that it doesn't help much with my blackheads but enlarging my already big pores is just nasty. I have to use my Tonymoly Dr.Tony Pore Tightening Sleeping Pack to remedy this problem.

Will I repurchase this again? Definitely no! Cuz I would love to find other alternatives other than this.

Product Review : False Lashes from The Face Shop and Holika Holika

Assalamualaikum,

I've been contemplating whether I would use fake lashes or not, I mean, yeah I found that other beauty blogs that some of them wears this on a daily basis, which I find it very time-consuming? LOL. I never tried out fake lashes, with these two babies I bought, I never even try out to the outside world.

Sorry, I was playing the Sims Social when taking picture of these two falsies, hee :p

Blog Challenge : Day 3 [Favorite brush]

Assalamualaikum,

I recently bought  The Faceshop's 9p Eyeshadow brush and I just fell in love with it on my first application!

What I like about this brush is that it picks up my eyeshadows well and pretty even, the work prestige of this brush is better than my normal eyeshadow brush of unknown brand.

It also helps in saving time on applying makeup because I usually build the eyeshadow colors when I use my normal brush.

Random Ranting : Busy

Assalamualaikum,

So just want to tell you people, that I might not be able to blog much this month, except for the blog challenge that starts off on the 15th, which pretty much consists of scheduled blog posts but I won't be able to pretty much handle and write reviews of the products that I've promised for.

Then again, work and Sims Social made me feel tired to blog or give product reviews, I apologize for that. Oh well, the way I'm talking is like as if I actually have any regular readers, LOL.

But anyways, here's a rare FOTN for you guys, don't get used to it, because I won't be doing a lot of FOTN/FOTD

Can you actually believe that this FOTN is actually just a touch-up from my morning make-up, yes, not good for the skin but I only have a few minutes to get ready that night!

Now here's a small haul for me.

Baking Powder Crunch Pore Scrub [24 pouches]

The Face Shop's Fake Eyelash Glue and White Mud Nose Pack

So there you go, another update from me. Toodles! :D

Make-up Review : Silky Girl, The Faceshop, Holika Holika

Assalamualaikum,

Today, I'm gonna write up an All-in-One Review for the selected brands above and I'm sorry that I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks. I've been very busy with Eid and also with my internship. We are basically given task to design a lab also make a report about network connectivity. Anyways, recently I have enough budget to actually buy make-up products. So what I'm going to do here, is just basically a short review in each product as I don't really intend on making it long cuz I need to ZzzzZzzz.

Okay, this is the products that I've bought over the month, Alhamdulillah, I had extra budget to spend some, after I had all my necessities bought.

Left to Right : Silky Girl's Lightening Liquid Foundation, The Faceshop's  Face It Radiance Concealer Dual Veil, Holika Holika's Silky Veil Primer, Silky Girl's Hydra Clean Makeup Remover, Silky Girl's Silky White 2-Way Foundation and Silky Girl's Blockbuster Color Palette
 1. Silky Girl's Blockbuster Palette.

This is the eyeshadow palette, the pallete is of natural colours and that's what I like most, I never really like to wear bright colours unless it's for special occasion, but then, I usually use this pallete before I even where the bright colors to actually blend in the colors so that it won't be too flashy.

Score: 9.87/10

2. Silky Girl's Silky White Lightening Liquid Foundation (04 Tan)

I've been using this product for years so I must say that this is a satisfaction for me in terms of consistency, it doesn't really stays up on my nose, because my nose is very oily, kept secreting oil that by an hour, my nose will be so shiny that there's hardly any make-up left. But however, it is good in blending any of my skin's flaw.

Score : 7.89/10

3. The Faceshop's Face It Radiance Concealer Dual Veil ( Natural )

This is a 2-in-1 concealer, it has the cream stick and also the liquid stuff, I usually use the cream stick for all my acne star and the liquid for my dark circles. To my preference, when cream stick is used for dark circles, it won't really blend well onto my skin, that's where the liquid concealer comes in handy and it does help brightens up the dark circle which is very awesome

Score : 8.45/10

4. Silky Girl's Hydra Clean Makeup Remover

This one, I absolutely love, it actually works like a facial cleanser but only better! It effectively removes any leftover makeup and it leaves the face (after you cleanse it) felling very smooth and supple unlike when you wash your hand with soap. It contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera which is a plus because Aloe Vera is very good for the skin, in fact, I bought a Aloe Vera Gel from Amway for skin conditioning also to reduce any acne scars or break out.

Score :  10/10

5. Holika Holika's Silky Veil Primer

This product I absolutely rave about, it has a very shiny sheen on it, it makes the skin very supple and it is also long-lasting, what I really like about this is that, it still stays on the skin preventing the makeup from vanishing itself, and it also keeps the skin smooth and supple WHILE wearing make-up and the ingredients doesn't even give me break-outs which is a very AWESOME news.

Score: 10/10

6. Silky Girl's Moisture Rich Lipstick ( 04 Illusion and 18 Appealing)

I like to wear these lipsticks the most because of its natural shade of brown, red and pink. My favorite would be the 04 Illusion because it is a match to my natural lip color. Suitable for everyday routine because it doesn't really have the shiny and glittery bits so it won't really attract any attention to your work mate. I usually wear the lipstick with a lip balm beneath it to give it a more glossy but natural look but now, I like to wear concealer on my lips and wear the lipstick alone, to give an illusion as if my natural lip color is according to the color that I used.

Score: 8/10
