Product Review : Intimate Secret Body Mist

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I know I'm not that good when it comes to reviewing perfumes and body mists. However, I really love these body mists so much that I'm putting it up for reviews. I bought this from Paloma, my friend made a big hassle out of these body mists that I was very curious to try it out. After all, it costs me around $4.90 per bottle.

Apart from the cheap price, as a VIP member, we do get our 10-15% discount, so it is much cheaper. I was tempted to buy all, because it is much cheaper than Victoria's Secret Body Mist, though I know the ones floating around Brunei is not the original body mists, but I love the Mango Temptation's Body Mist, I've been using it sparingly because I'm afraid to finish it up.

So anyways, I've bought two of them, as they are the ones that I'm more attracted to, which is Sensual Vanilla and Sheer Attraction. I like the fact that these body mists hardly has that obvious alcohol scent. Most body mists that are sold here has too much alcohol, especially those brands from Indonesia. It's very watery and I can relate these body mists to those ironing sprays? That's how the consistency is.

I guess the longevity of this product is short, for only an hour, I think. What I like about these mists is that they aren't overpowering no matter how much you spray, it won't ever be too overpowering. Like I said, it's more watery than alcohol in it.

I like Sheer Attraction more than Sensual Vanilla, it has notes of Melon, Plum and Freesia. It's more fruity than floral, it has this sweet subtle scent and it really does reflect my personality or my signature scent as my friend told me that most of the scents I go for are usually scents that smells like I've just been from a shower or a bath. LOL.

The Sensual Vanilla however, has a sweet sickly but still subtle scent of vanilla, it also has a floral note to it, I can't pin it down though. But overall, I still like it, I just prefer the Sheer Attraction more.

What I like about the body mist is that it seems to also moisturize my skin too, lightly, but it doesn't leave a sticky residue.

Do you have your favorite body mist?

Product Review : False Lashes from The Face Shop and Holika Holika

Assalamualaikum,

I've been contemplating whether I would use fake lashes or not, I mean, yeah I found that other beauty blogs that some of them wears this on a daily basis, which I find it very time-consuming? LOL. I never tried out fake lashes, with these two babies I bought, I never even try out to the outside world.

Sorry, I was playing the Sims Social when taking picture of these two falsies, hee :p

Product Review: Kila Doll Tranexamic Acid Whitening Mask

Assalamualaikum,

With Paloma recently open their new concept store on the 1st Floor of Mall Gadong, I went there and bought Kila Doll Tranexamic Acid Whitening Mask, it comes in a box of 10 pieces

Ingredients: Pearl Extract, Job's Tear Extract, Rose Water, Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide, Taraxacum Officinale(Dendelion), Rhizome/Root Extract, Dipotassium Chlycyrrhizinate, Prunus Yedoensis Leaf Extract, Acerola Extract, Cucumber Extract, Glycerin, 1.3 Butylene Glycol, Allantain, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xantham GUm, Peg-100 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Alpha-Arbutin, Methylisothiazolinone, Perfume and Water

Effect: Helps even skin tone, lighten spots, intensive whitening and firm and elastic skin.

This mask is for all skin types, there were actually more choices of this boxes and it was said that Kila Doll is sisters with My Beauty Diary, at most blogs, everybody loves using this facial mask brand.

I've been using this mask twice and I actually given my friend a sheet of this mask, and what both of us can say about this is that, it actually does what it says it does, it tightens your skin and it does brighten and whiten up your skin temporarily. I like the scent, it isn't overpowering and. Another this is that it has healing properties, it actually heals up my zit on my cheek, not that it helps clear up your pimples, but my pimple became a "cut" [from picking habits] and it actually heals up.

I know picking on zits are not good, giving acne scars and all that, but I seriously hate my pimples, there was once or twice that I actually practice self-control of not picking my pimples, it actually helps, temporarily. But then, when the Krakatao dies down, the Anak Krakatao comes back to haunt the SAME PLACE, which annoys me, so I just can't stand it and pick it with a needle [heck yeah] and used my Nexcare Acne Patch which helps absorbed the pus.

Back to the review on this mask, you know for a one-time use with a few effects seen is nice. I mean, I will repurchase this and try out the other masks that are available for this brand.

Product Review : Eyedrops for Soft Contact Lens

Assalamualaikum,

I've started wearing contact lenses a few months back, during Puasa in August perhaps? So my worries are that I might have to moisturize my eyes using eye drops because I'm seriously a moisture freak when it comes to contact lens. LOL.

Systane Ultra Eye Drops, Polylab Lubricating & Wetting Drop and Complete's Blink N Clean Eye Drop

So anyways,  this is the three eye drops I bought.

1. Complete's Blink N Clean Eye Drop

It's suitable for extended wear.

I kinda love this Blink N Clean Eye Drop, it gives a relief feeling to my eyes while I'm wearing my lenses especially when I wore my Multisol lenses, because those lenses dries up very quickly. I love the nozzle because it is blunt.

I think this is a keeper but it can only found in Watson's drugstore which is unfortunately unavailable in Brunei, but anyways, if I have another chance to go to Malaysia as Bruneian would call it "aMIRIka" referring to Miri in Kuching, I would certainly repurchase this.

Estimated Price : B$2

2. Systane Ultra Eye Drops

This is an eye drop that I bought at Focus Point, Time Square. I certainly hate the sharp nozzle which I find it difficult for me to apply into my eyes, because, although it is not recommended, I usually SOFTLY poked the nozzle onto my eyeballs for easier application, so having a very sharp nozzle is not a nice thing for your eyes.

But however, this product is a step up from Complete's Blink N Clean because it has a more refreshing relief to my eyes, unfortunately because of the sharp nozzle, I wouldn't be desperate to repurchase this and it cost me around B$9, which is not cheap at all for an eye drop.

3. Polylab's Lubricating and Rewetting Eye Drop

I bought this from Hua Ho, Manggis Branch. It somehow has the same calming and cool effect as the Complete's Blink N Clean, having a very blunt nozzle however, the bottle is very hard to squeeze,  I have to incline the bottle to a certain degree so that the drop can be.. dropped? LOL. But however, I would certainly repurchase this, it cost me B$3.50 only.

There's a funny story on when I was buying this eye drop, the product is placed behind a glassed shelves, it is on the upper shelves and below it is a row of prophylactic boxes, brands of prophylactic boxes. How strategic to put it sarcastically, I felt so self-conscious when trying to pick which eye drops that might be suitable for my cause. HAHAHA, very awkward for me.

Random Ranting : It's a lot of spending.

Assalamualaikum,

I'm sorry for not posting anything for the last few days, I've been very, pretty much, distracted with the whole thing, losing my blogging mojos. I need to cut back on my shopping spree, I'm currently into Korean's cosmetic range, though I'm pretty much a big fan of Silky Girl, since most of my life I've been using Silky Girl's products and it never had any problem with my face so I better stick to it instead of buying a lot of foundations/concealers and such to keep myself up-to-date with the world of cosmetic, not that I'm saying I'm ignorant but whatever that fits with my skincare/make up routine should stay in it for at least, forever. LOL.

And yes, here's the collective haul that I've made in recent WEEKS not days, but WEEKS. okay? hahaha :p

First off, it's a Divine Dark Chocolate, it's a very DARK chocolate, it's so dark that it is bitter.

Okay, this is basically a contact lens case that has been bedazzled with green glitters. I actually put in my old lipstick in the case because it was melting. Both are from unknown brands hee :)

I bought a lip gloss for $4.50 which is very cheap, it comes in a tube, it is very delicious! LOL, I know its weird but it's in a caramel flavor. I think I want to buy the whole range of this kind of lip gloss as it is very comfortable to wear, I will be repurchasing this one over and over again :p

Maybelline's Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss in Crazy for Caramel
This is from the Paloma store, they carry in ELF cosmetic and Korean cosmetic, I know it's somewhat strange to have a Caviar Facial Mask, but the scent was okay, I didn't mind the scent, I can't really explain the scent, it is somewhat woody?

And for the Purederm's Mask, it is very nice, you can use twice for that one pack. I haven't tried out the Oatmeal's Mask, the Olive Oil Mask was refreshing, it feels almost like the stress on your face went with the mask when you washed it. I would definitely want to repurchase this mask, though it's not exactly hydrating, it just gives my face skin a supple and tight texture. And I do have to use a moisturizer from the Tony Moly's Sample after using the mask.

Jasaengsu's Hi Collagen Essence Mask Sheet in Natural Jelly and Caviar. Purederm's Oatmeal Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask and Olive Oil Ultra Hydrating Shea Butter Mask

Got this recently from The Faceshop, I've used up the Vita E Face Mask and I seriously love it, it hydrates my face really well and I love the fact that the face sheet is very thin and it fits well with my face shape. I would definitely repurchase it!
The Face Shop's Vita E [Egg and Milk Extract], Vita C [Raspberry and Strawberry Extract] and Vita B [Cucumber and Broccoli extract]
Okay, I seriously love this, though I hate the fact that it gives me breakouts, I can actually use this for moisturizing my hands and also for cuts and burns.

Amway's Aloe Care Gel

This is the sample I get from buying Tony Moly's Face Masks. I seriously love the Fresh Tear Drop sample, I would love to purchase it but if there's still sample for it, then I would take the sample. Though I don't use this as much as I would, I usually use this after having exfoliation.

Then the Cherry Lip Tint, I don't think I would buy this product, but it is a nice change from having to re-apply your lip balm and lipstick. I can just apply this with a lip balm and no matter through out the day, the color will still be there. And I think it's a keeper, it should last long enough i.e 2 months.

Fresh Tear Drop Emulsion and Toner Sample and Cherry Lip/Cheek Tint

This is the Essential Line and I seriously love the strawberry smell, instead of the artificial strawberry smell, it smells like the fruit itself, but however, I won't be repurchasing any of the fruit mask but I would love to buy the leafy masks i.e Green Tea, Aloe, Tea Tree because the fruit mask gave me a sticky feeling on my face that I have to wash it off, in case it attracts ants :p

Tony Moly's Essential Mask Sheet Pack in Green Tea, Cucumber, Pomegrante and Strawberry
Super-loving this mask, it refreshes my face and it gave me a tight feeling that it tightens up the pores, this is a repurchase must.

Tony Moly's Super Q10 Natural Pulp Essence Sheet Mask
The Cottony Essence Line, I don't really like the thickness of the sheet mask, but I seriously love how it gave me a cooling feel and the Wild Ginseng actually smell nice! I certainly would repurchase this :)

Tony Moly's Cottony Essence Sheet Mask in Manuka Honey, Wild Ginseng and Lemon

I use this balm at night underneath my eyes and on my lips, I gave it to any of my cuts and it does stop the bleeding, I think it functions almost like the Egyptian Magic Cream, but I don't know, I don't really love how it makes me feel oily at night, though the next day the balm is fully absorbed giving my skin a feeling of soft and supple.

Product Review : Black Soft Music Bag from Debenhams.com

Assalamualaikum,

I would love to make a review handbag.

Absolute favorite shoulder bag! There's 3 compartments in this bag which is wonderfully handy for me so I could organize the things that I put in this bag. This goes well with any outfit which is one of the reason I like about black handbags.

I bought this from UK, well my bestfriend bought it from me, I asked her to find me a shoulder bag, medium-sized that is very suitable for my profile. Tadaaaa~~~

Seriously love this handbag, it has everything I need in a bag for my everyday routine, I can put anything there.

Rating? 9.36/10

Hehehe and I want to thank my bestfriend to for picking this out for me, I seriously love her sense of style because she has the talent to see what someone needs in a fashion statement! hehehe :D love ya bestfriend!
