Assalamualaikum,
I've bought this product out of impulse, not even knowing what it actually does specifically! Well, me and my shopaholic instinct! But yet, somehow, I never really have those moments where you buy things on impulse then started to hate it when using it. Lucky me, actually.
I'm doing this review because I've seen my live feeds with people searching for reviews on this particular product and also the Privia BB Cream, which I'll give a review on later in a few days' time.. I've been to Tonymoly's store and this product is not the most hyped product of all, I mean everybody is buzzing about the Tomatox, I've been lemming on the Tomatox for months now! How I am so regretful for not buying it the first and second time I saw it. Sigh, story of my life.
This product encased in a 20g black plastic jar, it cost me fairly around B$20+. In this jar, it contains some sort of wax? I guess, it's a little grainy by which I don't mind. It sort of has this lemony and woody scent to the product. I guess it contains essential oils but I'm not sure. It's somehow a little similar to Egyptian Magic Cream where it melts once it's on your hand.
So what are the uses of this products? I asked the SA [she's so friendly, I love her! My mood for shopping at Tonymoly depends on her!] I guess I bought this on impulse because of her =/ LOL! Anyways, the SA said that it is basically for moisturizing which you can use on your lips, dry areas of your body and even your hair. Sounds weird, but that's what she said.
I use this as my lip treatment, sometimes I will definitely skip out on my routine lipbalm so of course I get chapped lips. The balm is fascinating, it's very moisturizing, although the grainy part is a bit weird, but it does the job.
Though it's multi-functional, it gives you a greasy film on your skin, and again I don't mind because I usually use this for my nighttime skin care. Also, this balm, has a nice scent, so I don't mind the greasiness. And it's fast absorbing too! What more can you need?
I also use this to moisturize my skin around my nails as it can get a little dry there. And, I actually use it for my mosquito bites and it somehow helps reduce the itchiness though it doesn't reduce the redness. It just felt good that I have something to subside my mosquito bites' itchiness.
Then, I used it on my acne scars, though it's not visible through people's eye, but I can see that the visibility of my acne scars are reduced. Though, again, I skipped this routine, so there's no increased acne scar reduction on my part. But yeah, I went through this balm halfway, but one thing for sure, I'd definitely repurchase this.
