Beauty Bought: Peep My Toes!

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Another procrastinated post, this is supposed to be posted up before Raya but it's already Zulhijjah! I went crazy with shoes as I seem to have hardly any in collection and I usually buy a pair or two each year and wear it out till it's unwearable and buy more.

So I decided to be a shopaholic for the first time, I went on and bought all these 3 pairs.

I realized that I went for the open-toed shoes, 2 of them wedges and a pair of heels. All of them were in conjuction with the Raya sale so all of them were discounted.

I bought this at DMK at Delima for $19.90, I think? I actually haven't worn this AT ALL! I am saving this up for something special though, I'm not sure yet of what the special something is, but I still haven't had a reason to wear this baby out yet.

Marie Clare from Bata store also at Delima near Teguh Raya department store, I can't remember what the price was as it was being paid for by my mommy and she bought two pairs of the same, the other for my sister. This was the only thing I wore throughout Raya.

I went to URS store at Times Square Mall, a shoe label called Vern caught my attention and I really love this casual wedges, I can basically use this for semi-formal events and also to school without being so overdressed. So I've been using this everyday, I think I should buy another set of shoes for casuall-type outfit.

Make-up Review: Essence Night Club Glamour to Go Eyeshadow Palette in 03 Dance Til Dawn

Another review for you girls, I'm trying my best to set up as much reviews as I can as I seem to have a lot of backlog. As you can see from the title, I now have more than enough eyeshadow palette. I even warrant myself a shopping ban from buying more eyeshadow palettes, but I just couldn't stop myself ;)

I actually did plan on wanting to but this particular palette as if I need more purples in my collection, so I was excited when Paloma actually brings out more new stuff to Brunei.

Like the last palette I've bought from Essence, the quality was the same. A little hard but the shadows does not have a lot of fall-out.  Although the colors needs a little work by adding an eye primer to have that pigmentation above. 

I really love this for a soft smokey look, especially the second shade on the second row, I really love to use it for the crease. I really like this palette as I actually can use it for day-to-day neutral look, even though it doesn't look like it can be used for a neutral look.

Make-up Review : Holika Holika Eyeshadow in PK104

Let's say that I am feeling a little bit guilty that I haven't updated any reviews on my blog, there's still a lot of products for me to review.

So I bought a nail polish remover from Holika Holika, I'm a noob when it comes to nailcare so I'm not sure of which brand that I'd like to buy from, so it came with free eyeshadow, there was a few choices but I decided to opt with a pink one because I was, at that time, wanted to look for a pink eyeshadow.

What I don't like about Korean eyeshadows are that they can sometime overwhelm you with tons of shimmer, I realize I never really use it because as you can see from the swatch, it's so shimmery that you can only see it as a highlight color with pink tones running through.

I think this is an old stock because although I can easily get the product on my finger or brush, I still find the texture a little hard. Though it is still easy to blend.

Skincare Review : Essence My Skin Intensively Caring [Normal to Dry]

Another short review coming your way before my laptop runs out of battery.

This is a very quick purchase I made when I had my lunch with my bestfriend as I remembered that around that time my skin was on a transition from oily to dry, so my skin was chapped all over my face. At first, I didn't realize it but when I want to touch up my makeup, I realized about the chapped skin, I panicked because I don't really have any moisturizer with me.

So I bought this cheap moisturizer and this is what I think. It has a thick creamy consistency which is why it says that this cream is intensive. I do think this is good moisturizer away from home, because it does moisturize nicely, though you have to be careful to be not too thick.

But I think this is an okay moisturizer that I'll only use for when I'm at school or office.

Make-up Review : NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

I'm sorry for being so quiet these past few days, I blame this to all of the things that I have to take care of, also with Syawal coming in, I have lesser time to make time for my blog.  I will post up few FOTDs that I've taken picture of while Raya. InshaAllah, so I'm here with just a short review.

I bought this at Sephora for RM19? Correct me if I'm wrong, this is one of the famous eyeshadow bases that has been mentioned all over the beauty world. I do have another in the shade Gold, but I never seem to understand how this could be the talk of the beauty world.

It is creamy, although I was expecting it to be very white, it was less white than I imagined. But I do think that it is a little too white to put on my waterline, as I think it would not really make my eyes look brighter and awake, it just made it look sick. I think I'll stick to nude colors on my waterline.

As a base, I think there's hardly any differences between this and my Essence eyeshadow base as they both give the same degree of pigmentation to my eyeshadows and also, it lasts as much as 6 hours, which is not a big deal for me since I usually wipe of my makeup at noon.

I won't say that this item is a must-have but I think I can stick to other cheaper options before I try my hard to retrieve this item.
