The eyeshadow palettes from Makeup Revolution does seem to somehow follow a few palettes from Urban Decay and also Sleek, which is a good thing I guess? They are pretty much affordable, I do love the fact that they are bringing more new products into their line. I am sometimes overwhelmed by their amount of products not sure of what to try next.
Anyways, I actually forgotten to mention one important thing about their palettes, it is quite important to state this for all you who wants to travel with these palette. Well, it's nothing big but you can actually fit your favorite eyeliner, eyebrow pencil/crayons or travel eye brush in the palette itself! Well, it really depends if your choice is quite slender. But I'd definitely bring this for travel and put my eyeliner here. Too bad it doesn't fit more than one of the pencil items.
I bought the Iconic 3, just because it is a dupe for Naked 3. Out of all of the Naked line, Naked 3 has pulled my interest in trying out, but with personal reasons, I just choose to buy its dupe. The pink-toned colors of this palette does seem to match my skintone, I really love all of the shadows though even if the 3rd shadow is sheer but I like to use it as a subtle highlight. All the colors are really lovely and pigmented, I mix and match these shadows to pull off a lot of different looks and I'm actually planning to use this for my graduation ceremony soon.
The colors are satisfyingly useful for everyday, I actually tried this without primer it lasts pretty well, I do find fading in the 5-hour mark. But with a primer, in this case I used Make-up Revolution Focus Eye Primer, it does hold for 12 hours. Is this worth your money? Yes, I like to think so!
I gotta agree, this is that one palette I can reach out for on a busy morning without problems of matching colours and whatnot! I do force myself to spread the love though (been loving my Unzipped palette as well, since it's the same hues, easy neutral go-to). I love the darker sides of this palette, they're all really flattering.
ReplyDeleteYeah, MakeupRev has been upping their game with all the new products! I can't decide also what to try out next (the matte lip lacquers still intrigue me, also the TooFaced and Tarte dupes). They also just released a nude liner! I've been wanting one of those.
hmmm the color look suitable for work :), how mush is that?. mind to folback :)
