Assalamualaikum, pretty ladies!
Although this condition is very rare for me, since I have a normal-oily skin, but it does happen every once in a blue moon, so I've come prepared! MUAHAHA. As a reminder, I live in an equatorial climate, so my skincare routine might not be as extensive as when in different climate.
So the products that I'm using is down below.
Firstly, I wash my face with Follow Me's Oil Control with Anti-Shine formula [Review will come!], just to cleanse my face. I try my best to avoid exfoliation at this condition. As it is during the day, I would definitely wear make-up to school, just because I'm already used to wearing it for my self-esteem. So I would need a good moisturizer to set.
I usually use Hada Labo's Whitening Lotion with Arbutin, some might think lotion would be very heavy for a day skincare routine, but Japanese lotions are basically just toners. It's very light for morning usage. 3 drops from the lotion is enough for the whole face, but since I having a dry week, I took 5 drops.
Else, if I think my Hada Labo lotion is insufficient, I would just use Johnson & Johnson's Baby Lotion, only because it has a very gentle formula and it doesn't feel thick and it's a very good moisturizer. Another reason is that, you don't need to find expensive moisturizing products where you can actually find other products that are readily available at home that works just the same.
So anyways, after all that, I'd start with my make-up so as you've seen from my make-up collection, I have every foundation/BB cream that is catered to every skin situation that I may encounter. So in this case, I would definitely use my Moisture Petit BB Cream from Holika Holika and I have to tell you that this BB Cream is not suitable for oily skin, because it will definitely make you look like you have slathered a big amount of oil onto your face. LOL!
So at night, I usually remove my makeup with the normal makeup remover and then set my face again with Hada Labo's moisturizer and if there's ever any dry patch, I would definitely use the Tonymoly's Healing Balm because it works wonders on your skin!
