Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!
I’m back with a
review of my first ever Catrice product! I’m late to the party as most of my
beauty blogger friends have already tried out a few Catrice products. But no
worries, this one of the many reviews to come! *insert evil laugh here*
So anyways, I’ve
actually come to like to use a photo collage to do my reviews, so expect a few
of this later on! LOL :p
Anyways, I was
looking around the Catrice stand and yes, I’m a big fan of lip tints as I find
them easier to use than lipsticks and they last longer. I never tried any
Western lip tints as all of mine are from Korean brands such as Tonymoly,
Holika Holika and Missha. I might try out tints from Etude House as they
actually have purple lip tint.
This lip tint is
actually somewhat weird than any other Korean-branded tints I’ve tried, it has
a watery sticky texture that when applied, might take a long time to set on
your lip unless you sheer it out. I love the color on me, it’s almost like a bright
berry red on me. I even wore it to school as I just love to wear a bright lip
color on me while having a very toned-down eye look.
One other thing is
that, I really love how it tasted, it’s sweet and I have to add a slick of
lipgloss so I could stop myself from licking it. So this actually prolongs the
wearing time of this tint, or else, by at least 2 hours the tint will fade.
Though I like this
tint, I would never repurchase this again, but I do like to buy the other color
which is a bright orange-y red.
I haven't tried Catrice, no worries XD
ReplyDeleteMy friend bought something from them though. The jelly....lip thingy.
I bought many lip tints and interestingly, I haven't tried them! Except Kissable Lip Balm....thing that is kinda like a tint?
I heard from a lot of people that it's actually bitter tasting? The Korean ones, so you saying it's sweet is interesting!
How much was this?
lol, you're missing a lot, you should try the Korean lip tints! they last longer than the Catrice. The Holika Holika's tint has no taste but the Tonymoly's red tint are nasty bitter. LOL! I can't remember the price, but it was 3.90 or 4.90?
DeleteI have the tiny cherry thing from Tony Moly and TheFaceShop's but yeah, I don't have the courage to open them LOL. I should though!
DeleteI haven't been to The Mall in...AGES.
I should D:
The Tonymoly thing is very PIGMENTED so if you're gonna use it, do proceed with caution, LOL :p
Deletethe swatch on your hand looks fantastic.. a very pretty berry red. hmm, I don't know if we have them here in Malaysia but would love to try the colour..
ReplyDeleteps: thanks for participating in my giveaway. already contacted the winner. I feel bad for not updating u guys.. huhu
hopefully they do, they're such lovely colors! :D
Deleteoh its okay! no worries :D
Hi Imah!
ReplyDeleteThe lip tint looks almost the same as the Benefit Benetint! I may try once I finished mine. Hehehe...
Great review! :)
Hi Ka Sheila!
DeleteSeems like it too, but I'll bet the Benetint isn't sticky like this one lol.
Thanks!
Hi! Just found your blog! I'm so glad I did! One quick question Where did you buy the Catrice lip tint? I'm new to makeup but I love the trademark gradient lips so I'm looking to buy liquid based lip tints. Your blog had been so helpful thus far since I've begun an interest in looking up Korean makeup products in Brunei.
