Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!
I'm an eyeshadow junkie, there's no way I can't ignore any new and intriguing palettes. I usually go for those palettes that I definitely get a lot of use. So mostly all of my palettes are neutral and I can actually put each of my neutral palettes into every bag I own!

So having a black smokey palette/quad/trio is a new thing for me. This is my first smokey trio from the brand 17, I was given this trio by Ka Sheila from Sprinklerain for winning her giveaway, I know the winnings was from last year, so I'm really sorry for the late review of this product.
As you can see, there's 3 basic colors in the trio: White, Grey and Black. A basic color combinations to get a silver dark smokey look. It was quite scary for me to wear all of the colors at once because I am a big fan of neutral looks (who doesn't?)
The texture is quite normal, I won't say creamy but I won't say powdery as well, it's a little in between but it doesn't disturbs the performance of these eyeshadows. They are quite pigmented and shimmery, they aren't patchy when applied. Although I wish they were matte so I can pull it off for a day-to-day look.
They don't need a base to have good color pay-off. They can stay for about 8 hours before they start fading, but to make them stay put, you would need to apply an eyeshadow base before you apply the eyeshadows. I've actually used this trio for just going to school, I can either sheer it out to make it school-wearable or pack it on for an evening night out.
It might not be something I'd use day-to-day but I'm glad of having an option of when I want to dare myself to a grey smokey look.
