Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!
This is a non-beauty related post, so I hope you enjoy!
For the past few days, I've been baking and this is somewhat an achievement as I've never baked before and I hate baking! LOL.
We are famous in our circle of family and friends for making one of the best homemade pizzas, but I didn't bake these, I just like to show it off here because it's a Tuna Pizza, I didn't even have a slice as I'm not a big fan of seafood, I ate a slice of Pepperoni Hawaiian-inspired pizza, it was delish, my little brother made it, let the XY genes handle the pizzas.
Then we've made the nutella cupcakes, it's a little dry on top, but the crust that it formed made it more delicious as there's two texture in it. Soft and crusty, yum! These are my first cupcakes that I've made, sad isn't it? But at least it's that good :D
Tried to top it with the nutella spread, darn it's so sweet, I won't recommend it to the kids.
The next day, we made mini pavlovas and teamed up with some whipping cream on top, it tastes delicious as the pavlova is too sweet and the whipped cream are just bland, so it creates a quite nice chemistry.
Hahaha, tried to work the nutella cupcake with the whipping cream, but no, didn't work, tasted like you've dipped milk into the cupcake.
Then the next day, we've made another batch of mini pavlovas, this time, I used a piping bag to design the pavlovas.
A cute meme-like picture from a friend of mine, it's her son in the picture, I've actually posted about him a few weeks ago, I like his expression, it really looks like he was salivating looking at the pavlovas, LOL. For non-Malays, this basically means "Aii, pavlova. Aunty Dna, can I have some?"
Oh just so you know, most people won't recognize me as Imah or call me Imah, it's a nickname from amongst my family, so my friends and lecturers actually called me Dna as in (Dee-Ann-Ay) by pronouncing the letters. Weird right? I don't even know how to redeem myself to stop people from calling me a childish nickname.
So these pavlovas, I've play around with the piping bag and since I don't really like the taste of the whipping cream, we decided to make durian cream, basically, durian flesh blends into the whipped cream. It's very yummy, up with the fruits' seasons, a way to use the durians.
This is a big pavlova my mom made, covered with the durian cream. YUM!
