Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!
I was in a bit of a hiatus for two-three weeks? Only because I was busy preparing and celebrating Eid Ul Fitr and I would love to share with you the first two days of celebrating our month of Syawal.
For the first day of raya, I went for a blue-green "baju kurung" with of course, beading artwork from our tailorshop, there wasn't much picture I've taken on the first day as I was a bit cranky because of that time of the month. But I visited and stay at my grandmother's house in Tutong.
This is the second day of raya and again, I opted for a simple blue opah-style "baju kurung" and my little sister has it in pink. I swear I have a lot of blue "baju kurung", I think I'll go for more red next year.
We had a mini "open house", a term we use for when a family invites people to visit their house and the family prepares meal for them. It was such a busy second day for us, a lot of our relatives came by. Those 2 cute girls are my cousins, cute aren't they? We prepared non-spicy curry lamb chop, corned beef with potatoes, chicken and satays (the ones on sticks). The menu was lovely.
I've invited only a handful of my friends as it was a sudden mini-openhouse, but anyways, thanks to them for coming! :D
Can you guess which one is my mommy and daddy? :D
A cousin of mine, pulling off his ugliest face he can, he's a year old but such a tiny little boy, he's so darn cute, made me a little impatient to get married and have kids, lol!
