Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!
It's one of my first review of Garnier's products as I do have been using Garnier on and off, there's many range of Garnier's product that I would love to try but maybe for some other time, I think I'm currently satisfied with current skincare routine.
This is a night cream from Garnier containing lemon essence which will in return claim to give you a fresh and fairer skin when you wake up.
It has a normal consistency of a night cream, not too thick and too runny either. I think this doubles up as a moisturizer too, I usually take a very small dip, almost like a dab of this cream and it covers up the whole face and massage this cream onto your face for maximum absorption.
Does it live up to its whitening property? I guess not as I've used up many whitening products and it is certainly not possible for me to "whiten" up as I just can't seem to change my skintone shade. So there's a question of whether it is worth it to buy this product or not.
For me, I would say yes, it might not make your skin fairer and skip from a NC40 to NC35 (I'm not familiar with MAC's shade, so please correct me if I'm wrong) at once, but it does brighten up your skin and peels off any dull tone on your skin. It doesn't peel in the sense that your skin would be peeled off, as it is not strong enough to peel of dead skin cells, but it is strong enough to peel off the dull tone on your skin creating this temporary one-day brighter and fairer skin.
Not only that, it moisturizes your skin giving you a much softer and hydrated skin. Technically, this is a very great product for moisturizing and brightening. If you live in a place with equatorial climate, this might be good enough in terms of moisturizing your skin but I wouldn't probably go as far as claiming this might be good enough for colder regions.
