Assalamualaikum,
For this review, I will group together 3 different products that I pretty much am disappointed of.
Jump to see why!
1. Amway's Aloe Care Gel
Amway is a brand that I've learnt to trust ever since I was a kid, my parents bought many supplements from this company and I just love their Daily Supplement, but with my college budget, I won't be able to purchase the Daily Supplement tablets.
But anyways, I had high hopes for this product because it has Aloe extract and I'm somehow addicted to anything Aloe Vera, I even love to drink anything Aloe Vera. This comes as a clear gel, it supposed to help with pimples, minor cuts and burns, also it can act as a skin conditioner. It does say something about sun protection, but I don't see any SPF details on it.
Unfortunately for me, I have serious reaction to this gel, it gave me big, humongous zits on my face every time I use this on my face, I couldn't care less if it gave me cystic acne, but I can actually have 4-5 of those big pimples at once.
FAIL!
2. T3 Pimple Gel
For something that's suppose to sooth and clear of any signs of pimple, this is easily the worst product I have. I think I might have a very strong reaction to salicylic acid though.
3. Clean N Clear Gel
This gel supposed to work on me very well, because years ago, I've used this to sooth my pimples and it works. I don't know why it doesn't work for me anymore, I think my developed allergic reaction to salicylic acid is pretty much one of the reason that this is going to be binned.
While taking this swatches, just ON MY HAND, I even had pimples popping onto my face a few minutes after swatching it. Sigh. Me and Salicylic Acid just don't go together.
Wow- sounds like they were a big fail. I can't stand products that do that to me! It's rare but it does happen. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteyes, but unfortunately salicylic acid is very common in acne gels, I'm an acne-prone person, so I live by anti-acne products with salicylic acid floating around a few products, this give me a disadvantage when shopping
DeleteI love hearing about fail products because I know to stay away from them :) I have a Clearasil gel that did the exact same to me. Ugh, I was not a happy camper.

ow, some fail product that I use might be suitable for other people, my brother didn't have any reaction to the Clean and Clear gel, it even diminishes his pimples.
DeleteDiscovering Bio Allgäu's Teufelskrallen-Gel has been a game-changer for managing my occasional back discomfort.
