Make-up Review: MUA Love Hearts Lip Balm in Hot Lips

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

A budget brand I usually love to shop for is definitely MUA! But since I am on a "eyeshadow palette" shopping ban. It gives me the incentive to buy and look out for more stuff to try from MUA and this is one of them! Though. looking at all of my products, I'd definitely need a "lip products" shopping ban as I seem to have a tray load of them.

I actually bought two of these, at first I wanted to keep both of them for me but I guess I realized I only have one set of lip, I gave it away during my mini giveaway. Although I'd give the product a lot more love.

I opened the Hot Lips lipbalm as I am drawn to its red color, I do fine this to be very pigmented for a lipbalm, but I won't go far as to say you can use this alone. Why? Because it really depends on the condition of your lips actually. I don't know how to explain this but sometimes it gives a sheer color to your lip and sometimes it gives a very nice pop of color. I guess when my lips are pigmented, it gives a sheer wash of red and when my lips are pale, the color would stand out.

I really love that it has that vanilla smell on it, though you won't really be able to taste the vanilla. It lasts about 2-3 hours on me, really depends on what I do that day. This product lasts long as I do use this everyday and I still haven't made a dent on it.

Although the texture is somewhat waxy, I still feel comfortable using this, though it doesn't really have any moisturizing properties except for the fact it seals your lip condition. I.E. it only protects instead of moisturize.

Random Ranting: It's 2014 already!

It's been a long time that I haven't updated myself with you girls! I haven't been a good blogger as there is tons of things I want to update you girls on including reviews and hauls but my current situation won't allow me to do so.

Happy 2014 everybody! As of now, I don't really have anything to do as I've finally wrapped up my HND! Yayy, although I did have to spend an extra year for it, I think to me, Alhamdulillah, it was well worth it, Allah has given me much more after giving me a test.

I am currently jobless and I do have some plans on applying jobs here and there, earning extra income while waiting for the HECAS to start, I hope to enroll for one of the Degree programme in ITB. I can never get myself to even have this desire to go to UBD as I love ITB as much as it is, small university yes. But another good reason is that I won't have to be alone, I do have a lot of friends there and I won't have to make a lot of NEW friends again! Haha, anti-social much?

I guess I am afraid of new environments, I mean, even this thing that I want to explore is such a scary world and I do need to have to do it so I can challenge myself and learn new things that I am afraid to do.

In 2014, InshaAllah, I'd love to pursue a challenge that may break or make me, but I hope it would make me be a person who knows how it feels like to succeed starting from the bottom. I also do hope that it would be another year of no heartbreaks as I've succeeded in doing so in 2013. Alhamdulillah.

Make-up Review: The Faceshop Lesson 03 Artist Touch Lipstick in RD301

I am sorry with the lack of updates, the WIFI at home is gone and I can't go online as much as I want so I hardly ever spend time online using my laptop, it is such a boring thing when you are on your holiday.

So, this is a review for a lipstick from The Faceshop a brand that I hardly explore, I haven't even try their BB Creams yet and I am looking forward to test it out, maybe as soon as I get a job!

I bought this especially for an occasion that is dear to mine, my bestfriend is engaged! I was happy and we were actually having a sleepover too, so we actually went to Mabohai complex to get the Royce chocolate hamper for one of the "berian" that my bestfriend ordered.

There was The Faceshop and the only red lip product I bought was the NYX Xtreme Lip Cream, which I currently dislike because of it transferring everywhere. I bought this because of the fact the consistency is between matte and creamy also this is RED! I don't have many red lip products as of now, so I do try to have something that goes well with everything.

This is a picture with me wearing the product, I love the true red it gives in this picture, I can actually use this sparingly to give a nice red that is wearable for everyday look. Although I hardly use red in my daily looks but when I do I usually use this lipstick to satisfy my red needs as it last long for about 3-4 hours before I need to reapply. Since its between matte and creamy it doesn't dry up on me.
