Make-up Review: Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in No.3

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I won an Amazon giveaway voucher of £50 so it was a high time for me to try a high-end brand that I couldn't let myself buy because of the expensive price with a student's budget. I wanted so much to use the vouchers to buy as much palette as I can, but then having a lot of eyeshadow palettes won't do me any good.

So I decided to buy a face product, namely concealer, since buying foundation without knowing my exact shade would be a gamble. Choosing the concealer's shade was a bit tricky, I had to look for swatches online, trying to figure out which shade is best suit. I decided to choose this shade as it seems to be a much safer choice as it doesn't seem to be too light nor too dark. 

It's a yellow-based concealer and it matches with my skin and I do understand why people go crazy with this concealer. It is such a high-coverage concealer that it really hides my dark circles and also some of my acne scars. It goes on very creamy and smooth, although it could be caked on if I don't set the concealer with powder.

It stays on longer than my other concealers, it can last about 6-7 hours with setting, though I hardly use this as the fact that I hardly wear makeup anymore but I always use this when I want to spot conceal and go on with my daily activities. This is a great concealer when you want to have a photo-taking session as it really helps hide all your flaws.

Make-up Review: 17 Blusher in Pinky Rose

A UK brand, 17, was introduced to me when I won Ka Sheila's giveaway. I never really dreamed about wanting to try this brand but I'm glad that I had the chance to be able to try this brand out. I do have a small collection of blushes so this is much very welcomed.

This blush is a cool-toned pink mauve, a color that might have look weird on me because I realized that my skin does not really go well with any cool-toned colors but as people would say, it gives me a lovely glow as if you've been pinched. It's a good enough blush for me as it stays on flawlessly for more than 5 hours. The texture was surprisingly silky and it doesn't crumble or fly away a lot of product.

Although it is still not a blush that I'd use from time to time, but I really love to pair this color with a heavy makeup detail as it complements any dark smokey look that I created.
