Random Ranting : 50% Discount

Assalamualaikum,

Oh, did I catch your eyes with the title? Well, who wouldn't? But anyways, I've been receiving email from elf Cosmestic to the point that it annoys me, so I decided to look at it, I usually bin it to the Trash Folder, LOL! So anyways, there's a 50% discount offer given which is only valid for 48 hours and I was given a coupon code that I decided to give it to you guys, cuz I know I won't be buying anything online yet.

Yeah, I'm still not brave enough to buy things online, I think I need help with my love with that part, cuz he knows how to online shop. But I'm afraid to venture into online-shopping, cuz I might get addicted to it. Sigh, me and my ways of things.

Last but not least, here's the coupon code: ECD21

And from what I can understand from the email is that, it is used for one transaction only. So I don't know if multiple transactions from bunch of people could get the discount, but anyways, happy shopping!

Product Review: Kila Doll Tranexamic Acid Whitening Mask

Assalamualaikum,

With Paloma recently open their new concept store on the 1st Floor of Mall Gadong, I went there and bought Kila Doll Tranexamic Acid Whitening Mask, it comes in a box of 10 pieces

Ingredients: Pearl Extract, Job's Tear Extract, Rose Water, Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide, Taraxacum Officinale(Dendelion), Rhizome/Root Extract, Dipotassium Chlycyrrhizinate, Prunus Yedoensis Leaf Extract, Acerola Extract, Cucumber Extract, Glycerin, 1.3 Butylene Glycol, Allantain, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xantham GUm, Peg-100 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Alpha-Arbutin, Methylisothiazolinone, Perfume and Water

Effect: Helps even skin tone, lighten spots, intensive whitening and firm and elastic skin.

This mask is for all skin types, there were actually more choices of this boxes and it was said that Kila Doll is sisters with My Beauty Diary, at most blogs, everybody loves using this facial mask brand.

I've been using this mask twice and I actually given my friend a sheet of this mask, and what both of us can say about this is that, it actually does what it says it does, it tightens your skin and it does brighten and whiten up your skin temporarily. I like the scent, it isn't overpowering and. Another this is that it has healing properties, it actually heals up my zit on my cheek, not that it helps clear up your pimples, but my pimple became a "cut" [from picking habits] and it actually heals up.

I know picking on zits are not good, giving acne scars and all that, but I seriously hate my pimples, there was once or twice that I actually practice self-control of not picking my pimples, it actually helps, temporarily. But then, when the Krakatao dies down, the Anak Krakatao comes back to haunt the SAME PLACE, which annoys me, so I just can't stand it and pick it with a needle [heck yeah] and used my Nexcare Acne Patch which helps absorbed the pus.

Back to the review on this mask, you know for a one-time use with a few effects seen is nice. I mean, I will repurchase this and try out the other masks that are available for this brand.

Random Ranting: It's a new layout

Assalamualaikum,

How do you like the new layout? I think you can pretty much guess that I like purple, so much! LOL. So I would be having a review coming up. Even for my favorite sinful product, Aloe Care from Amway!

So anyways, there's actually tons of review that I should make, so here's the list or product I should review.

1. Etude House Happy Teatime Milk Tea Cleansing Cream
2. Holika Holika Daily Garden Olive Cleansing Cream
3. Tonymoly's Dr Tony PoreClear Tightening Sleeping Pack
4. Formula 10.0.6 Keep Me Clean Clarifying Facial Wipes
5. Silkygirl's Lash Prism Waterproof Mascara in 01 Blackest Black
6. T3 Pimple Gel
7. Nexcare First Aid 3M Acne Patch

So yeah, stay tune :D :D

Make-up Review : Holika Holika's Watery Petit BB Cream [Green]

Assalamualaikum,

Holika Holika is a new Korean cosmetic shop in Brunei, though not that new but yeah. I can't say enough of this but I seriously love their Silky Veil Primers so much. How I come to buy this BB Cream is just that, I wanted to purchases to reach the limit where Holika Holika will provide me with membership. I repurchase Silky Veil Primer, half a dozen masks and then tried to find another product to get to that purchase limit, so I decided to buy the Watery Petit BB Cream.

As you can see below, the Petit BB Cream range has 4 different BB Creams.
Orange Label (Essential) for Nourishing skin.
Purple Label (Moisture) for super-moisturizing benefits.
Blue Label (Clearing) for oil-control.
Green Label (Watery) contains green tea extract for problem skin
Pink Label (Shimmering) for shimmering finish.

For my skin type, my perfect BB Cream will be the Blue version, but it was out-of-stock so I went and just bought the Green version because I do have a problematic skin. With it's cheap price tag of just $12++ and a content of 30ml with SPF protection, it might be worthwhile on checking them out.

So anyways, here's the swatch.

It gave a white cast at first when applied but the cream oxidizes to a nice tone that matches my skin color. When applied without concealers, it does give a light coverage, enough to tone down the flaw's visibility to a different notch.

While I'm unable to purchase Skin79's Hot Pink BB Cream, this is a nice substitute for it, because not only it is light in texture, it's easy to blend. It has a long-lasting power and it's actually almost waterproof, mind you, just because it's waterproof, doesn't mean that it's oil-proof, I have to blot my nose by noon.

It also has a nice scent to it, if I were to compare with my Privia BB Cream, I'd prefer Privia though, because the Petit BB Cream has a flowery scent, unlike Privia's powdery scent.

I might not repurchase this, but it depends, BB creams lasts a very long time that even my other BB cream which is Privia's Repairing BB cream of 50ml is still halfway to go. With this 30ml, I think it could last for at least 4 months, I think?

I would definitely give this BB cream a 4.36/5

Random Ranting : Just the normal haul for me :p

Assalamualaikum,

Here's another haul and the mask from Jasaengsu are basically a repurchase except for Jasaengsu's Hi Collagen Essence Mask in Sealaver.

Jasaengsu's Hi Collagen Essence Mask in Caviar, Pine Mushroom and Sealaver
I regret buying this, because I just realized that I have dark circles and eyebags to take care of and I certainly don't have any wrinkles, yet. LOL, so I'm giving it to my love, hehehe.
Purederm's Anti-wrinkle gel patches
I bought this from a friend of mine, she had a severe reaction to the facial wipe, I swear her cheeks were so red hot that it could cook an egg, half-boiled, LOL! So I'm going to give this facial wipe a review.
Formula 10.0.6 Keep Me Clean Clarifying Facial Wipes
This is from Etude House, I bought their Make-up Removal Cream alongside from my Holika Holika Haul, the Daily Garden Olive Cleansing Cream. I can't believe that I bought 2 make-up remover in one go =='
Etude House Happy Teatime Milk Tea Make-up Removal Cream

This is my purchase from TONYMOLY, as you can see, most products from Tonymoly are given good reviews, so I decided to buy the pore tightening sleeping pack. A review on this product will be posted.

TONYMOLY's Dr. Tony Poreclear Tightening Sleeping Pack
There's another reason why I like having to buy something at Tonymoly, because they always are generous in giving me free samples, I was asking about the Tonymoly's Floria line to the Sales Assistant but didn't make a purchase for the Floria's product, so the SA is thoughtful in giving me the sample of the line I've inquired.

TONYMOLY's Whitening Cream and Emulsion Sample
Again, I'm taking advantage on the Buy One Free One offer, I bought these two lipstick, which I find so awesome because they are moisturizing enough without having to use lip balm.

Product Review : Eyedrops for Soft Contact Lens

Assalamualaikum,

I've started wearing contact lenses a few months back, during Puasa in August perhaps? So my worries are that I might have to moisturize my eyes using eye drops because I'm seriously a moisture freak when it comes to contact lens. LOL.

Systane Ultra Eye Drops, Polylab Lubricating & Wetting Drop and Complete's Blink N Clean Eye Drop

So anyways,  this is the three eye drops I bought.

1. Complete's Blink N Clean Eye Drop

It's suitable for extended wear.

I kinda love this Blink N Clean Eye Drop, it gives a relief feeling to my eyes while I'm wearing my lenses especially when I wore my Multisol lenses, because those lenses dries up very quickly. I love the nozzle because it is blunt.

I think this is a keeper but it can only found in Watson's drugstore which is unfortunately unavailable in Brunei, but anyways, if I have another chance to go to Malaysia as Bruneian would call it "aMIRIka" referring to Miri in Kuching, I would certainly repurchase this.

Estimated Price : B$2

2. Systane Ultra Eye Drops

This is an eye drop that I bought at Focus Point, Time Square. I certainly hate the sharp nozzle which I find it difficult for me to apply into my eyes, because, although it is not recommended, I usually SOFTLY poked the nozzle onto my eyeballs for easier application, so having a very sharp nozzle is not a nice thing for your eyes.

But however, this product is a step up from Complete's Blink N Clean because it has a more refreshing relief to my eyes, unfortunately because of the sharp nozzle, I wouldn't be desperate to repurchase this and it cost me around B$9, which is not cheap at all for an eye drop.

3. Polylab's Lubricating and Rewetting Eye Drop

I bought this from Hua Ho, Manggis Branch. It somehow has the same calming and cool effect as the Complete's Blink N Clean, having a very blunt nozzle however, the bottle is very hard to squeeze,  I have to incline the bottle to a certain degree so that the drop can be.. dropped? LOL. But however, I would certainly repurchase this, it cost me B$3.50 only.

There's a funny story on when I was buying this eye drop, the product is placed behind a glassed shelves, it is on the upper shelves and below it is a row of prophylactic boxes, brands of prophylactic boxes. How strategic to put it sarcastically, I felt so self-conscious when trying to pick which eye drops that might be suitable for my cause. HAHAHA, very awkward for me.

Random Ranting : Birthday Wishlist

Assalamualaikum,

So I know my birthday is weeks away, but hey, I seriously love having birthday wishes, though it's a big chance that I might not have it but a girl can dream about it. I might have to save up money to buy some of these.

1. An iPad/iPad 2

After seeing my seniors' final year presentation, it seems to be one of the most common contributor of making mobile/tablet apps apart from Android. This gadget might help my hang-up of having to lug around my laptop with me almost everywhere I go. Also, I was thinking of getting an iPod Touch, okay I know iPhone is a better substitute to iPod Touch, but I'm not interested in using a daily communication necessity with a touchscreen phone. Oh yeah, I still have a keypad phone. How lame, but very practical. But to consider and compare between an iPod Touch and iPad, iPad will be a winner. Though I'm not sure which one is better, iPad or iPad2.
iPad

2. Betty Jackson.Black Cream Mini Grab Bag

If I were to buy a bag, I would certainly purchase a black or a dark brown. I guess, I'm more to practical fashion instead of just being a girl and buy anything pretty. Okay fine, this bag is basically practical, suits with any occasions and outfits, but this is just one nice piece that I would love to splurge on.

Betty Jackson.Black Cream Mini Grab Bag

3. Sigma's Make Me Crazy Purple 12-Brush Set

A friend of mine introduced me this fine product and the first time I look at it, it was love at first sight! It doesn't help with the fact that it's out of my price range, but no worries, this set will be mine!

Sigma's Make Me Crazy Purple Brush Set
Don't you just love those beautiful brushes? It's purple and it's a very high-end brand which equals to high quality! I wish this belongs to me soon!

If all else fail, the Pink set can be the next best thing to the almighty great Purple set.

4. Sigma's Miss Taylor Kabuki Brush

Yes, a Kabuki brush, I can easily afford this but to avoid any hassles of having to buy two things separately, I decided to wait for my budget until I can afford this and the 12-Brush Set, then it will be wonderfuuuuulll~
Sigma's Miss Taylor Kabuki Brush

5. Tonymoly's Fresh Aqua Tear Drop Gel Cream

I've actually tried out the sample product for this and I seriously love it, though I won't use this very often because, I would just apply this only after my exfoliation routine.
Tonymoly's Fresh Aqua Tear Drop Gel Cream

6. Tonymoly's Ice Queen Multi Play Cream

This is not going to be a wish that meant to be true, because this product has been cut from production, which is such a waste really, because I've heard of this product's review and most of them gave a thumbs-up or two. A Multi-Play Cream is a moisturizer, sunscreen and a primer in one big container, which is a nice little concoction.

Tonymoly's Ice Queen Multi Play Cream

7. Skin79 Super Triple Function Hot Pink BB Cream

Who doesn't know the famous Hot Pink BB Cream? With its famous reputation of giving people chances to highlight their beauty and giving side benefits while wearing them, only people that can't cooperate with this product wouldn't dream of buying this little prize.

Skin79's Super Triple Function BB Cream

8. Apple MacBook

I think I'll be able to afford this only after I work, LOL!

9. Tonymoly's Peach Anti-Aging Hand Cream
It smells very nice, so why not?

9. Radley's Purple Helena Stitch Shoulder Handbag
It's purple! There's not much to say! :p

Random Ranting : Paloma with new Concept Store

Paloma opened its new concept store on the 11th November, last Friday at the Mall Gadong, 1st Floor. I didn't go during its opening, but yesterday afternoon, went to see for myself. Seeing its new concept store makes me a greater fan even more, since I'm a regular customer there when it was at the 3rd floor, though I usually go there to replenish my Jasaengsu Face Masks supplies.

So, this new concept store is just so tempting. There's actually a lot more products from a lot of brands, this is definitely a win-win situation. There's just tons of face masks there and I'm interested in buying their Ice Cream Make-up Removal Cream in Aloe Vera and Strawberry, can't remember the other flavor though.

Also, there were BB creams from Magic Science, haven't heard of the brand but with the power of Google, some said it was good enough, so I might be trying it out with the VIP Card, I might be able to get a discount on it. I kid you not, there tons of BB Creams and I'm interested in the Black Pump BB Cream, not sure what's the exact name for it.

I actually see a lot of new brands, there's tons of promotion in the concept store. If I were to have a big budget, I would spent my money there buying a lot of there face masks. LOL! Seriously though, can't wait to go there again

EDIT: The actual brand for those BB Creams are not Magic Science, it's actually The Skin Shop.

Random Ranting : Holika Holika Haul

Assalamualaikum,

I just simply can't go to Time Square anymore, everytime I go there, I would definitely look at the Korean cosmetic shop and eventually buy something! LOL. But then, I did want to repurchase something at Holika Holika, which is my favorite primer, Silky Veil Primer. Then I ended up buying the Watery Petit BB Cream, it's good for oily skin like me. I will definitely give a review on that later on.

Silky Veil Primer and Watery Petit BB Cream
And, I just couldn't help myself by buying their Essence Mask Sheet, I've tried out the Pomegranate and Tea Tree Essence. I liked the Pomegranate essence, though the Tea Tree essence smells weird. Don't you just love wearing mask and how refreshing it is when it sits on your face? hhuuummmm :p
Mask Sheet in Honey Essence, Aloe Essence, Pearl Essence, Tomato Essence, Blueberry Essence, Tea Tree Essence and Pomegrante Essence.
This is the Daily Garden Olive Cleansing Cream, it's a Make-up Removal Cream, I will make a review on this also.
Daily Garden Olive Cleansing Cream

Here's the free samples that I've been given, since I've paid more than B$60 for my purchases, to get a membership so I won't be messing with my head when I want to repurchase my Silky Veil Primer. I haven't tried out the samples except for the Bulgarian Rose Pearl Blossom Cream, to me it's just a normal moisturizing cream, my face didn't have any reaction to it. So, yeaahh.

The Make-Up starter, I need to really understand how it works, because, there's no instruction that I can understand that could give me an idea on how to apply it.
Make-Up Starter, Bulgarian Rose Pearl Blossom Cream sample, UV  Magic Shield Perfect Sun Sample,  HDSkinny Primer Base sample, All that BB Cream sample and UV Magic Shield Make-up SUN

Random Ranting : Collective Haul for me

Assalamualaikum,

A collective haul, a guilty pleasure for me, LOL. So anyways, went to our local drugstore, Guardian to buy the necessities.

I don't really like the fact that the mask have a plastic protective sheet, causing the trouble to peel of the face mask from the plastic. LOL. I tried the chamomile mask and it was nice, it gave me the usual refreshing and moisturized face. No other effects whatsoever.
Guardian's Face Mask in Chamomile, Green Tea and Pomegrante
This is a Nexcare Acne Patch, I usually wear this on my breakouts, the big zits and it does wonders though you have to take care of that zit, once the pus is absorbed into the patch, make sure that you heal the former zits so it won't be scarring too much.
Nexcare Acne Patch
This is a lens drop that I will review soon.

Polylab's Lubricatting and Rewetting Drops

Silky Girl's cosmetic, bought it at Time Square because of the ridiculous discount rate, there's a  "buy one free one" selected items. Silky Girl's cosmetic is my hands-down favorite so far, not only it's of affordable and cheap price, the products are also of high quality. Not to mention that they always have sales going on.

This is the eyeliner, I wanted to try out a brown liner and decided to pick these up, I already have the black liner so I decided to give it to a friend. About the brown liner, I love it to bits, it gave my eyes an impact that I don't usually see while wearing black liner.

Silky Girl's Double Intense Gel Eyeliner in Pure Black and Dark Brown

I'm a big fan of the Silky Girl's Blockbuster palette in Bare Classics because of the Neutral colors, there are some palettes available but then, when it comes to eye shadows, I usually try to stick on 1 color with different tones, I'm pretty much new to wearing make-up so I try to keep the colors comfortable to me then I would experiment everything. Hee.

So for this Violet Crush palette, I'm seriously in love with it, not only because I love purple in general but then, the colors are very pigmented and the colors are easy to blend to make a beautiful eye makeup.

Silky Girl's Violet Crush Blockbuster Color Palette

I bought two of the same color, not that I'm stocking it because one mascara bottle can actually last me for years, I decided to give it to a friend. I kinda like this mascara so much, it gives volume and length to my lashes without even clumping it and still able to make it look like I have no mascara on.

Silky Girl's Lash Prism Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black

This is the refills, the salesgirl actually knows how to make me give in and buy these, LOL. So I bought in two different but still dark shades, don't believe what you see in pictures, I actually have a dark skin.

Silky Girl's Silky White 2-Way Foundation Refill in Tan and Medium
Oh and did I tell you that they gave out free gifts for any purchases limit, since my purchases was a lot, I was given the items below.

I love this glitter liner, the only thing is, it's too funky to wear it to work/school but it has a really fine tip for easier application.

Blink Glitter Eyeliner in Gold Rush

This was given while I was paying for my purchase, a very generous sample tube of Nano White's Awakening Snow Wash, it gave me a bright glow right after cleansing with it, hopefully it gives a permanent result and I would definitely buy more.

Nano White Awakening Snow Wash
A duo eye shadow quad, and again I chose this because of the purple, LOL :p

And so on, here's the make-up bag and the bag pack.

Movie Review : Real Steel

Assalamualaikum,

Here I am with a new update for today, a few Fridays ago after going to ICC's Techexpo, I went with my love to Seri Qlap Mall, to watch a movie. It has been a long time since we've watched a movie together, I guess we were busy with all the things that happens, but anyways, I was very glad to be able to spend time with him as much as I can :)

So I watched the Real Steel movie, starred by hottie Hugh Jackman.

What I can say is that, this movie is nice, some said that at the end of the movie there will be a "make-you-cry" moment, but then, I guess I didn't feel like so mushy about it that I didn't even cry, LOL. But I love this movie, if I were to give a rating, I would definitiely give it 8.79/10

I seriously love the spunk of the kid's character, he got this very intense spark in him that made me felt that the movie is almost a real-life situation kind of thing, haha. But hey, kudos to the kid because his acting skill is very sharp.

Random Ranting : It's Eid Al Adha

Assalamualaikum,

First of all, I would like to say Salam Eid Al Adha to all the Muslims nationwide, may Allah forgive us, bless us with Hidayat and may Allah accept our sincere sacrifices :)

So, I know I haven't been blogging a lot the last few weeks due to the work being caught up with me. But don't worry, I will post up a few product reviews and a follow up with some of the products that I used before. Also, I've made a very tiny haul from the local drugstore, Guardian. I'm currently trying out a new face soap, but will post up a review after let's say 3 weeks? Given the fact that I am very busy to actually post anything up. LOL.

Happy Eid Al Adha, everyone, may Allah bless you :)
