Personal Post : Sir, I just had three ice creams

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

Another personal post from me! So I decided to change my posts to Personal Post instead of the usual Random Ranting or Random Pictures. Another thing is I might not be able to update as much as I can as I am actually running out of things to review, well there's a few still in my drafts but I am still testing it out.

So there's still a few pictures of my FOTDs/FOTNs that I haven't posted from last Raya and please forgive me for not telling you when was these pictures taken, because I seriously am a forgetful person when it comes to dates.

A much greener look, I had a collage of my eyeshadow but somehow my phone won't pick up the colors that I've applied and that dark grey contact lens is making my eyes look bigger :O I prefer a lighter grey or green, LOL.

Smarties, haven't seen these in shops for a very long time, it's an old favorite in my childhood.

A pretty much tone-downed look for me but I did use my favorite Skin79 Snail BB Cream that day and lasted me through the night with only two touch-ups.

I wore this outfit before and posted it on my blog in a OOTN/FOTN, only difference is I wore a square headscarf that time and I really like the new ring my mommy gave me.

A collage with my "niggacinapok" bestfriend, LOL.

We had an "openhouse" to celebrate my daddy's birthday and most of my friends came and I was happy that they really made an effort to come, if I know them better, they had actually stayed and gather at school until 6.30pm before they came to my house. There were more but I was too busy to be able to take pictures with some of them and please excuse my tummy! I am overweight, LOL!

And again, I wore my trusty Skin79 Snail BB Cream and the last picture on the right is around 11pm and I was too busy too even touch up and I'm glad I don't look so washed out.

I went to my bestfriend's sister's wedding and it was so wonderful and we took pictures with their "pelamin" and it was awesome. Unfortunately we didn't took pictures with the bride and groom as we were too busy stuffing ourselves with icecreams as it was very very hot.

During our openhouse, I was too busy handling and entertaining the guests that I didn't even get to taste some of the food that caterers provided, such as Honey Chicken but that didn't really made me cry but mommy made servings of pudding in a small containers that it took the 100+ servings to be diminished completely after two hours the even started.

The pudding was so delicious and mommy asked me to make about 50+ servings for our house, we have a big family so the servings aren't too much for us, it took us 2 days to finish the puddings. LOL.

Want-it Wishlist : Natural Collection

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

It has been such a long time for me to have a Want-It Wishlist post and this has been in the draft for quite a few months already, so it's about time for me to post it up. Natural Collection is a budget cosmetic brand from UK. So as you can see I love UK products, only because I am able to purchase products that aren't available here through the help of my friend who studies there, so I will only get to see and receive the items that I've bought on their summer break.

Many raved about their blushes and I am planning to buy a few of them as I technically only have just 3 blushes and the souffle blush is running out fast! I do love the cream blush so much! :D So anyways, not only do I want to expand my blush collection, they are also affordable at GBP1.99 each, which is B$4+ roughly.

These are their lipglosses and some of you might notice that I'm not a big fan of lipglosses but I just don't like to spend more than $8 on lipglosses too, so I decided that I should try this one out next time when it arrives. If I do confirm on buying them, lol.

Pressed powders, I seriously don't know why I am not branching out to loose powders. I bring my pressed powder everywhere so loose powders are just too messy for my hectic schedule. So I would love to try out a cheaper pressed powder as I've been stuck in wearing Silkygirl's pressed powders for years now and I would love to try out new powders.

I'm a big fan of tinted moisturizers although I hardly wear it out public as I am a little bit paranoid as a blemish-prone person, tinted moisturizers won't cut it, but it's a nice little handy item to have as there are times when my blemishes are less visible or when I'm out and about in Miri as it's just a place where we would shop outside the border and there's hardly any people that recognizes me, lol.

Skincare Review : Essence Pure Skin Anti-Spot Toner

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I never really think that toners are really important in one's skincare routine, it always depends on the person wearing it. As time goes on, my skincare routine wasn't really working, I kept on having a lot of blemishes appear here and there.

I just bought this out of curiosity and you know Essence have very good quality products with a budget price, so I'm not losing out on anything.

I was being silly and shook the bottle before I could take the picture of the powder settling but you can see that there's white residues in the bottle.

So about this toner, I like the fact that it's cheap for just $3.60 ($3.30 for members) and Essence is being generous in giving 200ml of toner, I can't remember when I bought this but I'm already halfway on this baby.

I like that it has some sort of mild medicinal scent to it, not too overpowering and it does give a cooling effect on skin and also cleanses any dirt residue that I could have missed while removing makeup. My mommy even uses this to solely remove her makeup, so I guess this is a good make-up remover too.

This is something I would definitely stockpile as I can see that Paloma is being lazy to restock their supplies of Essence as I need to repurchase the black long-lasting pencil as it broke on me :( oh swell.

Random Picture : Kawaiikoya Haul

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

This is a non-beauty haul, but I would love to share these with you as this is a haul from a collective order from my friends and I, as we ordered fun and cute stationery from kawaiikoya.com, I seriously love that website and there is lots of cute stuff. I think it ships internationally, as it is a Singapore-based shop.

I bought two earpieces, although currently using the white one, it has already broken down on me after a month's usage :( oh well at least it sets me back to $3+ only.

A secret notebook, a slim and tiny notebook and I use this to list down all the things that I'd love to order from MUA, Etsy, Sleek, Natural Collection and whatever brands that I could think of.

Ahh, the list check-it book, I really love this as it has those bullets for ticking when you're listing, well, lists.

I love this handy scheduler! It's not dated so it's very handy as I don't like those dated schedulers as I find them to be very hard for me to fill in as there are days or weeks that I won't have anything in my agenda.

Make-up Review : Silkygirl Ice Cream Lip Pot in Chocolate Vanilla

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I am yet to be a big fan of lipbalms, I love them for their moisturizing properties and priming my lips before I go on to wear my lip tint and then lipstick. Out of all the make-up and skincare items, lipbalms might be the last thing on my mind, I guess I'm too picky with my lipbalms, but Banini Beauty has opened up my eyes to try out any lipbalms out there and I'm even planning to buy lipbalms from Etsy too! LOL.

I was out shopping with my little sister and I wasn't really looking for anything, just shopping for our Syawal celebration which ended a few weeks ago, then I come across this, I've never heard or seen Silkygirl branching out into lipbalms, I've never had any chocolate lipbalms before so this is quite out of my comfort zone, but never the less, I would love to take the risk and try it out.

It comes in a cute pot and the inside is a swirl of chocolate and vanilla "icecream" and it smells like Chocolate Icecream too! I didn't bear to swatch this as it might ruin it and I let the lipbalm unused for a few days and can't really resist a chocolatey lipbalm.

I've tried it before, although without a swatch, trust me, I don't think you want to wear this out outside, because this gives off a sheer but still pigmented nude brown that it seems like you're actually wearing a concealer on your lips and it bleeds too!

It's a shame that this lipbalm is a big NO, but however all is not lost because it tastes like chocolate candy! Which is disappointing at first, because I'd like it to smell like chocolate icecream instead of chocolate candy, but then, everytime I have this urge to eat chocolate, I usually whip this out to satisfy my cravings (I'm on a diet and I'm losing 5kg already! Yeay!)

A repurchase? Maybe not, as I hardly use this outside of my room. Yes, I only wear it when I'm just in my room, that's how terrible it is. I love the novelty of this lipbalm, but not so much on how it wears on me. But I love to try the strawberry one and see how it goes on with me :D

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl Moist Collagen BB Cream

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I'm back with the review of the Baviphat's set I've bought a few weeks ago that was on for a bargain of $14+ which calculates to $4++ each and I think it is a great bargain as you can't really find any BB Creams or primer that could set you back for less than $5.

I'm going to review on one of my least favorite but don't let it stop you there, out of all three, I guess, the blue tube didn't really impress me that much but all the same a real great product but not something I would repurchase.

I love their cute retro-esque packaging, kinda make my BB Cream collection seems interesting.

What I can say about this product is that it has a light beige color and the consistency is a little runny but it easily blends with your skin at first giving a little white cast but it then would settle into my skin shade which is undeniably something that doesn't come by so often as some would really leave me with a shade that a few steps lighter and giving me a grey cast.

This BB Cream gives me a slightly dewy finish which I dislike, well I do have a dislike to dewy finishes so I usually mattify it with a setting powder. This does last a few hours before it needs to be blotted or retouched. I really love this BB Cream as it gives me light coverage but still enough to hide my redness and evens out my skin tone.

I don't know if I want to repurchase this or not, but if there is nothing better out there, I would.

Random Pictures : What's left of it

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

So I'm back with a personal post and I don't really dare to post pictures of my family and friends up close, so this is as close you can get to see a picture collage of my friends. So I hope you guys won't mind about these pictures as I can't really remember which days of Raya it is, so yeah.

I think this would be the third day of Raya as I remember from the picture below that I went to my uncle's house.

I think this is on a Thursday when daddy had to go to work so we can't really celebrate Raya with him during the day, so I went out and accompanied my friend to renew her student visa and we had a very late lunch at Koryo Restaurant, specialized in Korean cuisine, I have to admit, I don't like Kimchi and also I hate Seaweed, but somehow with Kimbap, I was able to tolerate and now craving for it

I think this is the 5th day of Raya, when daddy had to go on a dialysis session so there won't be any going out with ze family that day, so went to my bestfriend's house to meet up, then we went on celebrate Raya by visiting our friends and our beloved former Chemistry teacher.

Then, they decided to visit my house at the last pit stop, and yeah, you can even barely see them. LOL.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Magic Girl Star Glam Highlighter

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I'm so lazy to these review posts these days as I've had a lot of things on my mind but then I just couldn't stay away and let my blog be post-less for a while unless I have good reasons for it, lol. So, I'm a newbie when it comes to highlighter, I don't think I'll be buying more highlighter as the one I've bought (that I'm going to review) would last me at least a lifetime before it goes bad. I've seen testers from Etude House, their liquid highlighters have gone bad.

I still think that Etude House's liquid highlighter, although they have the pink that I loved so much, is a little to overpriced and I won't buy something that could go bad easily for more than $20.

The Baviphat's liquid highlighter cost me around $7 I think, as it comes with a discount.

It reminds me of Benefit's liquid highlighter as I've seen from reviews it has a tiny bottle, although Etude House has a slightly large bottle.

As you can see, it has a nail polish-like packaging, glass bottle with a brush applicator. I don't really have any complains with the applicators as I only use it to dot on to my features that I'd like to highlight.

Ans as you can see, this is actually a gold highlighter with pink tones running through it, the glitters are fine and when blended it gives a lovely rosey-gold shimmer that doesn't goes overboard as it gives you a highlighted look that won't make you look like glitterballs.

I don't know how long it lasted but I think it lasted a good while for me, I first used this almost everyday but then I realized it's too heavy duty for me to wear it to school, so I only used it for special occasions although there's a time or two that I'd pop this over my browbone to give it a highlighted look.

Make-up Review : Garnier Instant Fairness BB Moisturizer

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I had a lemming for  this BB Cream for a long time and it's very affordable for a BB Cream, even cheaper from Petit BB Cream range from Holika Holika. This particular BB Cream sets me back up to $9.90 only, I was regretful to buy this when the sale is not on, cuz it's much cheaper when it is on sale. Around $7?

It has only 20ml in a squeeze tube bottle, I don't really mind though at least it's hygienic even if it has a lesser amount than the usual BB Cream.

I'm not sure if there's other shades available here, but I have it on Medium, which seems to be a few shades lighter than my skin, but fret not, I usually mix all of my BB creams with the Essence's liquid foundation as it somehow turns around to two shade darker than my skintone? I seriously am in a dilemma of trying to find the right foundation for me, lol. I think I get tanned and whitened very easily.

As you can see here, the swatch is simply of a natural beige color, but although it seems like it's so blended into my skin real nicely, it still is too light for me, I guess the lighting is acting up on me.

But however, these days I've been using this up not because I loved it but only because it's a 20ml BB Cream and I want to finish it up. From what I've noticed, it does moisturize my face and also brightened up my face and it does lighten up my skin tone so this is actually the first BB Cream to ever done that to me.

What I can say about this BB Cream is that it's a real cheap BB Cream that does the job for you, it would last you about 4-5 hours before you need to blot or touch up. Although you need to get a good primer that can minimize your pore visibility because this won't help you in that department.

It doesn't really have a nice scent, it smelled like cheap artificial lemon smell to me but hey, it's a nice product so I don't really mind because the scent would actually go away after it sets. It's something that I won't repurchase but a lovely product to try :D

Make-up Review : Essence Gel Eyeliner in London Baby

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

I have actually reviewed Essence Gel Eyeliner in Berlin Rocks and most of you might see reviews of these little diamonds up in the blogosphere and I know I've been posting up reviews about Essence products only because they have good quality products for the dime, they are undeniably cheap, a very affordable cosmetic range that is available in my country.

So anyways, this is in London Baby, most reviews I've seen has said that this is a brown gel liner, but I really beg to differ, as I can't really find any hints of brown in this gel liner.

Sure, this is not a true black, but I can't seem to find any browns in it.

The best way to explain this color, for me, is that this is a faded black with hints of taupe running through it. There's also hints of glitters in it that won't be really obvious when you apply it on your lash line.

And of course, the texture is very creamy and wet which I found very ideal to apply on my lash line.

A very outstanding gel liner for the price, as this one won't budge or smudge after it sets on your lash line, unlike Silkygirl's gel eyeliners though. It is waterproof, but I don't think it's water-resistant.

Make-up Routine : Highlighting my face

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

So I'm still a noob in my makeup skills, I suck at trying out a black smokey look, I don't even know how to contour my face, so my skills are currently improving in a slow pace. At first, I dislike the idea of highlighting as it somehow gives an idea that it would give you a much dewy look and I am the matte kind of person, I don't like my face to be too shimmery given the fact that I am of a combination-oily skin type.

However when I was given a sample of the Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glam highlighter, trying it out made a difference to my makeup routine. I can't believe the radiance that it gave me when wearing out the highlighter, so this has set me to use highlighters to make me feel and look radiant.

So the dots I've put strategically on my face is where I usually apply my highlighter, but out of all these dots, I usually am too lazy to highlight to my upper lip as I know I can easily get a vision of a fuller lips with just wearing lipglosses and I don't really feel I need to have a fuller-looking lips.

I didn't forget to take picture of the blended version, however my camera doesn't really picked up any of the radiance that the highlighting that I've made but you get the idea of how it might look like on me.

Make-up Review : Baviphat Sugar Girl All Skin Collagen Primer

Assalamualaikum pretty ladies!

As I've stated before, I've bought this wonderfully discounted set for a half-price bargain. Out of those three, the blue tube is my least favorite but nevertheless a good product! As you can see, I can't really afford to buy and repurchase my Holy Grail primer which is the Holika Holika Silky Veil Primer, I've been looking for other cheap alternatives so I won't have to feel guilty finishing up my Holika Holika primer, I think I can make about 4-5 more applications before it is used up.

So with that clarified, of course I would be reviewing the primer from this set.

I really love the packaging, the have this retro feeling and from the whole range, I would say these are similar in terms of theme with theBalm's products.

It is sealed, so far so good.

This primer is basically a silicon-based primer, something that fares well with my skin as it is not only giving you a smooth surface for your makeup canvas, it does minimize the visibility of your pores, although the color is tinted but it pretty much blends into your skin with no tint left.

Also, I found the primer to keep my makeup longer than it would without it, it works almost as well as Holika Holika Silky Veil Primer with only a fraction of the price, I'm telling you, even in EBay, the Silky Veil Primer is still too expensive for me. But fortunately this primer is affordable for budget-conscious beauty.

This is definitely a repurchase for me! I'd definitely be exploring Baviphat's range of products as Paloma is actually selling them with a really affordable price.
